Clockworkmod recovery - show log: what does it do, and why is "extendedcommand" not found ?

Hello,

when I go to the "advanced" menu in clockworkmod recovery (4.0.0.9) and I execute "show log", I get following response:

  • ro.serialno=
  • ro.bootmode=unknown
  • ro.baseband=unknown
  • ro.carrier=unknown
  • ro.bootloader=unknown
  • ro.hardware=p990
  • ro.revision=0
  • init.svc.recovery=running
  • init.svc.adb=running
  • I:checking for extendedcommand...
  • I:Skipping execution of extendedcommand, file not found...

Can anybody explain what that exactly means? Seems like the software is not capable of reading the settings, and what about "extendedcommand". Is this problematic ? And can something be done about it ?

It might be an indication on why I keep on having trouble with this phone... I currently run the latest LG stock rom (released in june, v10C for the Netherlands). I will leave it on stock rom for a while to check whether random reboots are now remedied.

Many thanks for the assistance !

Cooled.

Guest Rusty!

Don't worry about the unknown stuff in the log, mine is the same.

Extendedcommand is the thing that lets ROM Manager tell the recovery what to do.
