Is it normal for the phone to fall asleep while I'm playing Need For Speed Shift?

I was in a middle of a race and the phone simply fell asleep.... annoying >.<

Lalit, is there a way to change this event?

Thx. for the ROM. I installed it. It's nice.

When the ROM starts, I put the pin to unlock the SIM, and then, another screen appears to put the unlock code. I haven't this code for the moment. ¿It's possible to deactivate this screen in options?

@tillaz

Thanks! you lead me on the right direction... I finally found out why the flash wasn't working properly... I now know that Android hates non-alphanumeric characters such as & + ' etc etc... I also found that too long a filename is too much for Android to handle aswell... And also spaces in filename is a bad idea too, I kinda noticed that when you said rename the files to there installed filename and saw that none of them had any spaces in their filename, so yeah that was the final clue to sorting this out completely... HOPEFULLY ^_^ So now I have done this, mostly by trial and error I just thought I thank you for the pointing me in the right direction to solving my dilemma, been at this problem since Sunday! ... Now, I can go ahead with sorting out what I want in the rom for flashing... Thanks tillaz

you should be able to update apps that are on the system... i can

its not a case of renaming them, its getting the actual installed .apk

when installing them manually from sd card i should of said go to app/data not system/data.. sorry huh.gif

read it again i have changed it to the way it should be biggrin.gif

Meanwhile it would be nice if you put config_animateScreenLights to true.

Me, and everyone else I think, enjoys that animation :D

P.S.: In the menus it shows 48m of VM heapsize available, but(I may be wrong) in your commit the maximum is 32m. Am I correct?

Because my Ext4 partition wasn't loading at start up I went back from V2,5 to V2...

I had data connection problems with V2 which would be fixed with a reboot. If I left Data and wifi both on all the time it won't switch to mobile data automaticaly and turning data on and off won't help either, only a reboot....

BUT, after playing around....To fix without reboot it's simple, turn off the wifi and then turn on mobile data connection and turn off data connection when finished...

I thought lets give cyanogenmod a other try... but i still have the same problems i had last time... Just to see if someone is having the same problems. I really like the interface all the options and mostly the customizeble powercontrol notificationsbar, But it isnt working properly at all...

Here are the steps i did:

1 Rebooted to Clockworkmod recovery.

2 Wiped date/factory reset, Wiped Cashe partition.

3 Installed the the latest build of cyanogenmod (2.5)

4 installed google apps from http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com

5 Rebooted

Now the problems im having from most anyoning to less anoying.

1 the screen goes black when im calling or im getting called. (Going back to backup solved this) And in cyangenmod i cant dail *983*0# to calibrate again...

2 When i boot it first asks my simcard pincode. then it asks me this SIM network unlock pin ?????? (What the .... , i have a unlocked phone so i have no idea what this number is)

3 Google apps is not installing when i flash it trough CWM recovery, its says its installed. When i boot i get the welcome screen where you need to choose your account, but then when its completly booted there is no google apps... I tried installing Cyanogenmod, rebooting installing Google apps. I tried it without rebooting it allways results in the same thing. NO GOOGLE APPS :P

Im glad the phone isnt bootlooping this time... And yes i allways do the wipes. I dont have the ZTE skate i have the medion P4310 but its the same hardware so it sould react the same doesnt it?

1. In the app drawer there is an app that lets you calibrate it. It's called ate skate settings.

2. That will be fixed in the next release

3. Gapps will appear when you connect tithe Internet

Ok thanks that explaines a lot :D I will do these, i didnt know there where more wipes. In other tutorials i saw they where not shown. I searched around because i allways like to know what im doing before im doing anything. I read this complete guide, so format system removes the complete rom.

So lets say for example you do this and the battery dies or something your screwed? Also if formating boot wil result in not being able to boot why would you format it anyway? Or is the recovery partition allways accessible even if you format system or boot? Not that i ever do this without having enough battery or something its just out of curiousity. So formating boot would be the easyest solution of perm bricking? :P

okay thanks, I've tested them and they behave different as they did on v2.5:

In NOVA 2 I see the start video with the lower part of the screen duplicated at the upper part, but after that the game works and loads as fast as in bluemonte, so I think the problem is now solved except for that start video problem, which I don't care about.

In nova 1 I get the same white squares I got on V2.5

BTW: 2201 Antutu score at 960 Mhz!!
