Guest wbaw Posted August 17, 2011 Report Share Posted August 17, 2011 This is a port from the Orange Monte Carlo (ZTE Skate) to run on the ZTE Blade. It's totally de-branded & customised to be similar to Ginger Stir Fry, a lot of stuff had to be borrowed from GSF to make it work. It has Dolby audio processing. Bluetooth doesn't work. Wifi tether only works with a 3rd party app (included). There may be other bugs. This is my final attempt at this, there will be no further updates or support. Guest Posted August 17, 2011 Report Share Posted August 17, 2011 (edited) Is it possible extract out Dolby audio processing for trying on other ROM´s? the dolby sound is built into the rom(maybe frameworks,not sure). So if possible,it would most likely be difficult. But it would be nice if we had dolby sound ported to cm7,or GSF. So maybe is a peculiarity of the voda ireland sim - they are doing a discount on roaming fees in the uk this summer so maybe its an evil marketing ploy or somesuch Basically not sure if you'll have problems roaming elsewhere - I can only guess not (since UK Orange and T-Mobile sims roam in ireland on b20 without problems) Further edit - loving the ROM wbaw - and great to see that this one's got dobbly! So if you do put this over the top of gsf b20 and it doesn't work......no one will care! Why don't you just backup and have a go!? See what happens....take a gamble......live life on the edge.
