Baseband required to install Modaco FR19

Hello.

I aquired an O2X from TMN Portugal and would like to install FR19.

LG software updated my baseband to 1035.21_20110405 (10c) from 10b.

This forum recomends using 1035.21_20110622 (or above).

I would like to know if I should/can install 1035.21_20110725 (LGP990AT-00-V10d-NEU-XXX-JUL-25-2011).

The XDA forum (http:xxforum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041) lists this version appropriate for EUROPE OPEN or GREECE/ITALY.

Should/can I update my baseband to the latest version?

Yes, you can install the latest baseband. You can install all the basebands (one at a time, of course) and see which one best suits your needs. There are differences in the performance of the baseband depending on the country and network provider. So you can experiment which baseband gives you the best signal reception, voice call quality, WIFI stability, battery life. Just remember that each baseband needs a matchin RIL file that needs to be installed seperately either by simply copying it into its folder location or by using ClockworkMod Recovery to flash a ZIP file which will automatically place this RIL file in its correct location.
