If those, who uses the alarm (which has an excellent sound on it that wakes me up like if a plane has crashed through the roof!), uses the CM7's alarm app, read on...

Have you noticed that the alarm app actually kills the battery dead?

I discovered that (I had it set to 08:30) but let's not be pedantic here, it drains the battery like hell and by the time I woke up (and no I will not tell what time either :P) - the blade was dead as a dodo.

Am sorely tempted to kick that app by fixing it up somewhere, whereby, it has a wake-lock held on fast and glued literally, which I think what contributed to the battery drain.

Any input/suggestions/ideas on how to resolve it, answers on e-postcard please :)
