I'm using ES File explorer, selected the root explorer option, and it says that Mount /, /System is writeable, and the bos is unticked (I can't tick it since its greyed out)

I've found build.prop but there is no edit option.

Also do I ONLY change the manufacturer to 'HTC' ?

you mean starfront: collision???? Ive fount that there is version for Adreno, but it says SNAPDRAGON ADRENO, maybe there will be cpu collision too :-(

That's it! Yeah, it quits immediately ARMv7 style.

I can't wait for Civilization V to make it to Android myself. :D

SURPRIZE, SURPRIZE - ON CAE 1.0 WITH NEW KERNEL NOVA 2 HD V1.0.3 IN-GAME FPS ABOUT 10-15.. on earlier rom/kernel leak was 1 fps in action as reported earlier..

overclocked to 806mhz and..... yeah its pretty playable (if you are willing to play that :) )

I noticed that in an overclock state (somewhere below 800mhz it gets a better fps but is still unplayable when some action kicks in during the game

This only happened when i move to GSF and now to the new OC kernel CAE.

in options MOUNT AS REAR/WRITE , change permissions of SYSTEM dir, change permissions for BUILD.PROP file, edit that file, save, CHANGE PERMISSIONS BACK!! REBOOT!!!

It's good too! And cheap at $1. Action RPG with an actual touchscreen interface rather than a virtual DPad.

You directly control a tank/warrior class. You click to move and click and repeatedly attack a target. As you fight you build up a bar which lets you do a AoE attack.

The computer then controls a second character who is basically an automatic ranged DPS until you press a button to direct him to heal you

Oh, Crime Story technically works as well but it's horribly slow.
