hi

I have fault during installation of blade mix 360 - before I made format data/cache/system.

fault is :

assert failed :write_raw_image ("/tmp/boot.img"."boot")

E:Error in....file address

(Status 7)

Installation aborted.

Now I`m on Cm7 and everything is ok. I had gsf without any problems installed.

I also checked to enable/disable asserts in recovery - without impact.

Any idea what to do ?

Running 360 ICS with the circle battery and I really love it!

A couple of issues though, it used 67% battery overnight in 8 hours doing nothing.

Also I keep getting FC on the ICS launcher when I try to open the app drawer.

I really don't want to give up this rom though! Should I try re-flashing? :-)

I decided to try this rom. Can I remove Notif. power widget? How?

Plus any chance to stock theme? I would like to try this rom, but i really dont like all the "colorful" themes and roms. I prefer minimal black/white stock theme.

Thanks.

Doh! Just been reading reviews for ICS launcher on the market, seems I'm not the only one with FC issues... will go back to LPro and keep my perfect ROM.

Thank you FA :-)

I'm having a bit of an issue with the Market.

There are a lot of connection timeout's going on.

This wasn't present in any of the ROM's before.

Any ideas?

Aside from that... it looks and works fine (my compliments on the ROM... speed-wise and animation wise it works beautiful).

BTW... I used Rom Manager to install the latest ClockworkMod Recovery (5.0.2.0) - I had 4.0.0.5 (I think).

It ALWAYS results in phone hanging on the green android pic if I attempt to access CWM.

What's up with that?

My Blade never worked with this version of CWM for some reason... earlier versions (such as the 4.0.0.5) worked fine though

EDIT: Tried the 5.0.0.1... seems like this one works fine... gonna try the newer versions - except the 5.0.2.0 - to see which ones work.

VERY ODD the latest CWM refuses to work though.

EDIT1: Seems that CWM 5.0.1.0 works fine as well... hmm. Gonna try to upgrade to 5.0.2.0 now that it has the version before that installed. But, jumping from a low version to the highest shouldn't play a part in it (either it works, or it doesn't).

everything seems to work on my end.

Though, I am curious... I don't have the Speech to text option on Mix360 LP.

Is this intentional or what?

In order to get that function back on my phone, do I need to install it?

If so... how?

If that doesn't work either - your best bet is - back up your SD card, format your SD card. Put only the ROM on it, and flash.

If that doesn't work and if you luckily have moved from Gen1-to-Gen2 using TPT, flash TPT again, and it will clean everything 100%. However if you did Windows update to Gen2 or if you have Gen 2 already, then don't use this option.

I can't download it from the market (Google doesn't allow it in my country - Croatia - which is absurd).

Where can I download the app separately and install it?

I downloaded gapps for CM7... and I even tried flashing them via CWM... doing so deleted my google Maps (among other things).

I reinstalled the BladeMix360 LP ROM via CWM.

I opened up gapps on my laptop, but I don't see 'voicesearch' as an apk in the System folder.

Then again, if I'm not mistaken CM7 gapps don't include voice search.

So, if you could kindly point me to the gapps zip file that contains voicesearch... I'd be grateful.

First of all rom manager as i SEE has a bug with the latest version of recovery

so choose and flash another previously recovery number CWM 5.0.1.0

if that not working

THEN

YOUR SYSTEM PARTITION IS TOO SMALL(NO OFFENCEbiggrin.gif)

i used this http://www.multiupload.com/6DWR9AD8W2

cache 50mb

data 294

system 160

extract the zip and you ll see a folder called "image" with some files in it.put it in your sd

the file "image" must be in the sd card but not inside into another folder

also put in your sd any version of Blade Mix 360 not into the "image" make a folder lets say BM360

now close your phone and remove battery and your sim card for 30 sec...put back sim and battery

and press the + sound button and power button you ll see that the installation is starting

when its done(all these green letters)

you br automaticaly in cwm

from there wipe cache,dalvik,data,battery

and then "install zip from sd card" find and install Blade Mix

I had the same issue and tried various TPT things from Wbaw.

These:

Custom rom version (should work well with most custom roms, more room for your apps & data)

Download: Gen1-to-Gen2-TPT-v9-custom.zip mirror mirror mirror

File size: 16.72 MB

MD5: a178bdbf53c92beea182d26c570a1ef9

SHA1: f45b7d97f4611230c5be9550b36f95a4c82e20c2

Partitions: 2mb cache, 160mb system, 294mb data, 0.1mb oem

Alternative version - enough space to install most gen2 stock roms

Download: Gen1-to-Gen2-TPT-v8-stock.zip mirror mirror mirror mirror mirror mirror

Download size: 16.06mb

MD5: b87a8fb0dd779dde393993cd2f786d37

SHA1: 47c9843cbfdf28ed504f3b3252e2f8b327bd6bee

Partitions: 37mb cache, 210mb system, 204mb data 4mb oem

None worked. (As you can see, system should be enough according to what you say.)
