You know what's weird? I tried to flash the boot image thru dd in recovery and it didn't seem to play.

Maybe the lack of s-off (not the same as the official bootloader unlocking i am afraid). I don't know the revolutionary team but if you know them you can send them the new hboot ?

I've already pinged IEF the hboot. Don't know whether it'll let us flash a modified version as yet tho if we've already 'made the leap'...

Thanks , you are correct no SD card , I just inserted one and complete zip flashing. It completed ok , I reboot the tablet and it got stuck on white HTC screen ... :-(

Any ideas how to troubleshoot it now ?

Paul, what we can try is to build a signed pg41img.zip with all the 2.23 parts except the hboot and for the hboot we take a backup of the revolutionary hboot (version is higher than the stock one) ?

You should be in recovery (NOT in bootloader or fastboot) and enter the the adb commands exactly as: adb push stock-hc-flyer-hboot_1.11.0006.nb0 / && adb shell dd if=/stock-hc-flyer-hboot_1.11.0006.nb0 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18

Yes, I did . Afterwards tried to restore system with RUU and it failed

Just a heads up that I tried to roll back to GB, and got the same:

Paul-OBriens-iMac:GB paul$ fastboot flash zip rom.zip

sending 'zip' (470947 KB)... OKAY

writing 'zip'... INFOzip header checking...

INFOzip info parsing...

FAILED (remote: 99 unknown fail)[/code]

So it looks as though, at the moment, rolling back isn't possible!

Yeah, predictably it doesn't work.

The other issue is if we get a S-OFF version of the new hboot, we probably don't have a way to flash it!

Where are they? On the device or on the machine?

If you don't know this maybe you should read a lot about flashing custom roms on android devices before trying this guide. It's very easy to go wrong and then your Flyer would be destroyed.

BTW the "Android USB Driver" is installed - flyer appears as "Android ADB Interface"... also i am in the screen that says "Fastboot USB" after running "adb reboot bootloader" ... and yes it says "-Revolutionary- FLYER PVT SHIP S-OFF RL" at the top

worked like a charm and I have HC.

I did however did 17 and 18 in reverse, first I wiped and then I installed and nt as described in the list.

why would I wipe after I installed?
