Next update maybe contains an FPS booster +/- 4FPS in 2D +/- 11 in 3D

Quadrant for example the test with the globe was hitting 97 FPS, Quadrant results dont really boost with this but other benchmarks and certainly games do.

on ur first thread, u have a new JFT update which should have the no service problem fixed

i am not from the US, i dun have the no service problem here and my sensation is sim free (non tmob)......if i update to the JFT update, will it affect my phone from the no service problem?

No it contains also optimisations and improvements as wel, some bugfixes. Its just early release before the next update comes in place. But there is also no need to update if you are happy and you can just wait untill the next "user" release shows up. See it as cm nightly.

S0075 running for a few days now. so far so good on tmous.

- mms issue fixed

- gps locks in on my location within 20 seconds

- wifi works. tried to install the wifi calling that doc sent me, but it fc's when i open it

- bluetooth working. transferred an mp3file to HD2...it pairs but wont "connect" but mp3file transferred ok

- audio is topnotch BUT...EQ sliders are a bit off to the left. I didnt notice this until i compared with my HD2 also running miui. the sliders work so its just an appearance issue

- camera + flash working. does anyone know how to mute the camera sound? i cant seem to find it on the settings

- camcorder HD recording works...BUT..i think someone already mentioned this, the recorded HD vid plays at double speed. I recorded a 15 second sample, when i play it back...the timeline says its 30 seconds...and it plays @2x speed. Videos captured @ High(30m) quality plays back normal speed.

- no other major issue i can think of.

S0076 flashed today....

- display is BRIGHT. the lights on the "buttons" turn off...and stay unlit until you lockscreen and then unlock.

- i noticed browsing speed improved. pics on social networking apps loaded alot faster

- i guess the other things are mostly comparable to S0075 so far.

for those who need a vid converter, i got this from another site which we used for the HD2 (800x480 resolution i think) but i tried the vids on the sensation (540x960 ?) and they played quite well. Its from HTC Touch HD vid converter http://gm.mainframe.no/stuff/Encoder.rar

The crt screen of/on animation is gone :( ...i hope you can add it back because it really does WOW the "other" smartphone users, specially those loveable iphone peeps :) like i said, so far so good on S0075. Mr. Trip, your efforts are greatly appreciated keep up the good work!!

when typing onto the keyboard, i made a number of typos......

any suggestion/conclusion?

Check the wifi advanced settings and make sure the wifi sleep is set to "never". I noticed mine was doing a lot of jumping on and off and checked and saw it was set to sleep on screen off.

Also there is a way for you to achieve what you want but it requires a mod that unfortunately is not compatible on our version of miui.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I do have it set to sleep "never". Even as I am typing this it has jumped on and off WiFi twice already. Could it be a radio issue? I am running the 10.56 radio version but I have not changed the ril because my WiFi speeds are off the charts and my data speeds are not bad either.

And as for my status bar mod, why can it be done on the lock screen but not the regular screen?

Your fingers gained weight. LOL, im kidding i dont know, the phone has the same feel to me on the rom as it did on 4.b, 5b, 6b, and now on 7b, but thats just me. so i dont know what others think. And once again, sorry for the joke.

I'm not sure why it doesn't work but probably has something to do with edits to the launcher for our phone and the mod is made to mod the stock miui setup. I think.... haha. That would be one for trip to answer. But it worked on the alpha and the first cpl betas before he modded the launcher to look better on our phones.

I guess I'm back to manually editing model name myself. Is that going to kill your sound stuff. I don't understand why you would change it back from HTC Sensation 4G. Does that setting hurt Euro users? I was really happy, sent what I thought was a nice donation for your efforts and now it seems that wifi calling and my ability to use a TMobile specifc app, just based on a single line goes out the door. I guess I don't understand if I somehow said something or offended you somehow. I guess wifi calling is a low priority, since it isn't available for Euro users anyhow. Which is why I mentioned how some of the sense rom cookers handle issues like this with a script that runs that makes both Euro users happy and tmous users happy since it can tell which model is in use. Hey I forgot to inform you about this, but something seems to be up with the audio during phone calls. People keep chopping up and cutting out. When I then ask what's going on (as it SEEMS to be their phone), they then inform me that there's an echo that keeps appearing every so often.

I'm not sure what tweaks have been done to the audio, but it's causing people to be able to hear themselves while on ear piece (coincidentally NOT while on speaker), almost like the ear piece thinks it's the speaker phone. And when they hear the reverb, one of our phones must be hearing it as well and is cancelling out someones volume so the other can talk freely.

Anyway to take a look at this? Because it's getting really bad with some people. I as said I THOUGHT it was other peoples phones, but when it happens to everyone I call...it has to be my phone/ROM.

Yup, with you here. It seems that wifi calling isn't a very high priority, since it's TMOUS users only. Every wifi calling question has been generally ignored, even though a lot of users are TMOUS users who depend on wifi calling.

I wouldn't say it is crying. I have been with this ROM since the beginning and have been more than satisfied with Trip's skills and commitment to the development of this ROM. However, I do not have any cell service in my office, so WiFi calling is a must have feature for me. I understand that Trip is not on TMOUS and that WiFi calling may be a low priority or even more so, not being on TMOUS it is probably challenging for him to work with and test this feature. There are a number of us that if asked would be happy to help out on this front, just let us know what you need from us and we will provide it.

It's strange because up until these last two builds I had wifi calling working perfectly by just pushing the apk and libkineto to system/app & system/lib. Now that definitely does not do it. I was fine with doing that for each update, perfectly easy and worked like a charm. It is a bit of a bummer. Hopefully we can find a way to make it work.

(S0075b) Am I the only one who thinks TAPS is not prevalent in headphones? Im listening to Pandora with the volume maxed just to get what I would consider moderate volume. In call and speakerphone volume is phenomonal, maybe about 15% too much, but headphone Jack volume just doesn't seem the same as the rest.

If that's the real reason, then I would think there has to be a better way. But then again, this IS Android I thought where everyone was happy to share their stuff, and equally happy to pay for said stuff when paying was the thing to do. I certainly would have.
