Do not know if this is flashable with your recoveries.....Just install apk normally.........Make a nandroid back up FIRST................

Help anyone ? i tried to download trip's rom from rapidshare and it gives me this

The file of the above link no longer exists. This could be for several reasons:

• The uploader deleted the file.
• The file contained illegal contents and was deleted from our servers by our abuse-team.
• The file is incorrect.
• The server is busy and can not process the request.

The problem with MIUI.us is solved and i need to say that it wasnt Scott who did this, this was Tinkersham action and he will get what he deserves for this. Also Scott said that the previous build was indeed a copy of my work also not his action but Thinkersham. No problems with MIUI.us and/or Scott. Problem is well solved and he will look into it further when he is home.

Props to him for taking the right actions directly and admitting the fact that this is happened. Move on and back ontopic. :)

You know I really did start off on a bad foot here.I sincerely apolagize to all I have offended.I am merely a fan of tripnmiui and have been using it since the initial build.reading over some of the ladder post in the thread yesterday I immediately assumed there was a lot of hostility being directed toward the trip for something he could/has not been able to focus on especially when factoring one of his reply post stating that this is still Just For Testing .I assume the final product will be more feature rich and stable.Whatever the case I felt prompted to register and speak my thoughts in defense of trip.But unfortunately I had made a determination based only on a sum of things instead of taking the whole into consideration.My outburst was hostile and offensive,my language abusive and inexcusable.For that I do sincerely apolagize.For future reference bar I do not get banned for my repulsive initial post I will most certainly refrain for having such immediate hostility and steer clear of detracting from the progress of a thread/project.My bad,please give me a 2nd chance and don't judge me upon this idiocracy,I'm not a bad person,just a fan who lost his cool and got overzealous.

still the same thing = ( maybe due to my location in singapore and the only one here who is having problem downloading from rapidshare. and great that action is taken towards tinkersham :blink:

Don't use setcpu for overclocking/underclocking it does not work right with dual core processors. There are only two apps available right now that do Suppprt dual core. One is SYSTEM TUNER (available in the market) and the other is FAUX CLOCK (found in the sensation development section of rootzwiki forum). Don't take my word for it. Do some reading and you'll see I'm right. Enjoy

Agreed here. But also had to have fixes within either the kernel and or the ROM. I only remember that until maybe a few weeks ago, no one knew that only one clock was actually being OC'd. Can't remember off hand who to give the kudos to for most of the development on the issue. I know it was a collaborated effort.

Kill the market updater app and it won't be an issue.

as i said i used recovery USB for comparison. got 12MB/s v.s 150KB/S. almost 100 times slower.

FTP only allows reading not writing.

I Write to my SD card all the time using FTP. Simple copy paste works for me. I don't know what you mean you can't write using FTP. But I also use a file manager on my desktop called Directory Opus, which basically looks like a duplicate of the original File manager from original Windows. It has a built in FTP client and it DOES write.

If he just gave credit where credit is due then there wouldnt be a problem. Dont understand why it always need to come to this point. People always trying and trying untill somebody stands up and tell them that even if things are open source you can still steal somebody's work.. As far as i know i didnt release sources for Camera or TAPS or all the custom things i build personally and that is stealing.

Otherwise open source would mean we can all post paid apps trough every community because Android is open source.

For me personally the reason i'm getting more pissed about this is because i cannot say that all this developing was any good for my relationship :( And thats the part where i have only regrets about, it basicly costed my feature for personal things that will always be hard.

I KNEW that guy ripped you off. When I saw everything and heard people's complaints...they seemed all too familiar. There are problems with his (your stolen) ROM that have been fixed in your updated ROMs lol.

Are you a new sensation user? Just asking 'cause 8hrs. out of a sensation is not bad. I know of people running stock that get less than 5 hrs. With the latest kernel I am getting fantastic battery life. The only change I made was to disable automatic brightness, just out of habit from my Desire Z days where it made a huge difference. I do not know if it makes any difference on the sensation , but I am VERY happy with the battery life out of this Rom/Kernel combination. Way better than I thought I would ever get on this phone.

+1, also remember to go thru a couple of cycles then when fully charged go in and wipe bat stats. One thing that greatly helps me is when i go into a know dead zone i turn on airplane mode(like for me the subway system). Searching for signal for extended periods drains power fast.

BT works for me

old market works great

MMS send and receive ok on TMOUS (could be bigger muah ah ah)

GPS is INSTANT, but unfortunately there's a 50% chance it'll be 1000-3000 miles away for some odd reason?

WIFI teathering is broken

I still stand by my statement that headphone port audio isn't TAPS. It sounds fine, but it doesn't come close to being over the top loud like in phone calling and or speakerphone does with TAPS. I'm super happy with the ROM though. Definitely still my daily driver.
