+1, also remember to go thru a couple of cycles then when fully charged go in and wipe bat stats. One thing that greatly helps me is when i go into a know dead zone i turn on airplane mode(like for me the subway system). Searching for signal for extended periods drains power fast.

Oh yeah, wiping batt stats also is very important too, good call.

Whoever has bluetooth working, can you let me know if it's just audio or calls too? I'm having trouble with both.

RUNNING THE NEW KERNEL.... NO MORE LAG ON MY GAMES!!!! amazing man

as for the 720p videos I have there is slight lag at some parts but most of it is smooth.... sound once again is even more amazing

battery life has decreased though maybe its because its 1.4ghz?

Newest ROM and TripNKernel are cruising along:

BT works for me

old market works great

MMS send and receive ok on TMOUS (could be bigger muah ah ah)

GPS is INSTANT, but unfortunately there's a 50% chance it'll be 1000-3000 miles away for some odd reason?

WIFI teathering is broken

I still stand by my statement that headphone port audio isn't TAPS. It sounds fine, but it doesn't come close to being over the top loud like in phone calling and or speakerphone does with TAPS. I'm super happy with the ROM though. Definitely still my daily driver.

Thanks Trip!

+1 to everything you mention, with the exception that I am not experiencing the GPS issue.

My Kenwood hands free calling works. Has since s007b iirc. Cannot test A2DP...

Agreed here. But also had to have fixes within either the kernel and or the ROM. I only remember that until maybe a few weeks ago, no one knew that only one clock was actually being OC'd. Can't remember off hand who to give the kudos to for most of the development on the issue. I know it was a collaborated effort.

Well it was a few guys but brokenwall and faux123 were doing a lot also Romanb and mdeejay and mike1983. I know I'm forgetting some people but those are some I remember and I know faux123 really poured through the documentation on the snapdragon dualcore. Roman developed the faux clock app and 3c developed system tuner so I'm sure he was in on it too

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to keep trying with different kernels. Bluetooth calling has only worked up to 6B for me. After that, the phone won't pair with my car. I'm also trying to pair with my Motorola SD10 headphones and that's not working either. Also trying to pair with my computer. Going to do a full wipe and give it a few more tries.

Try the newer kernels. You need to load the one in this thread first, then go to the new kernel thread and use that one. the BT painring is back with these kernels.

I tried, but no luck. Thanks.

I'm going to stick with 6B for now. I have working bluetooth, 5x4 launcher and the new market with no FC. Overall it works the best for me.

You tried adding both new kernels to 008 one after the other starting with the one in this thread, and still no luck?? That's really too bad.Maybe 009RC1 (here's hoping) will be the one for you.

Not sure if there is a way to enforce the lockscreen display size in the ROM, I could be wrong, this would be something Trip would have to answer. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is for someone to write a converter script that re-sizes the values in the themed lockscreen itself. The .mtz (Miui theme format) is essentially just a zipped file and if you rename it to .zip instead of .mtz you can extract and edit the files values. I believe the settings you would need to change are in the manifest.xml file located in the lockscreen/advance folder. Hope this was of some help to someone and if I'm wrong please correct me.

In the meantime you can use some of these lockscreens which have been known to work and were posted previously in this thread. I take no credit for their creation, my understanding is they were ported over to the EVO 3D which shares the same resolution screen as our sensation and I have verified these work with our device. All credit to the original creators of these lockscreens, if I knew their names I would post them too :)

Trip,

Bug Report :

Just noticed that using the built in screen capture (vol down + menu at same time) causes a restart, and / or lockup requiring a battery pull reset. Just thought I would let you know bud :)

Lol another copy of my rom now on xda, first screenshot show MY WALLPAPER :(

I choose that one because it looks like the original miui but it isnt... So for now the wallpaper is allready copied, you can expect more from me to show up

Again AOSP camera....

Same file size as miui.us rip by thinkersham.. + my wallpaper 1 + 1 ?!?!?!?!

Deja vu  dry.gif

Espec the wallpaer that is one of the main reasons i choose a "look a like" and now the first miui rom to appear allready has the same "look a like" would be nice to see some explanation from the dev...
