What are you guys using to UC and UV? Setcpu, system turner or faux clock. I plan to UC to 800, but don't know what to use to UV. I would really appreciate the help, thanks.

Hey Trip, a new MIUI rom is out on XDA in case you are interested.....no links yet, in my history with him is he is a standup guy, offering credits where/when they are due, so I am not too worried about him ripping you off. Kinda thought a possible collaboration might evolve.

WOW!!! Just got home from work, and am really sorry for posting about Frankinstine's MIUI attempt.... I was really hoping for a possible collaboration effort, not all this drama.

I came in the door and ran to the computer to get Trip'n' and now it looks like that is going to end???? WTF!!!

Ridiculous. Glory and fame have no place in an open source community.

I really don't think Trip is all about Glory and Fame, more about respect for HIS efforts by having others dev's NOT on XDA give him the credit he deserves. How anyone can think he does not deserve the credits for his work is beyond me.

BTW, I was using Trips MIUI ROMs before there were CM7 roms available for the sensation.

I asked for those WiFi files that have been turned down it appears by Trip since he says he won't accept anything from XDA. I either get this to work and also have Taps working, which I assume would require help from Trip, or I for one am out of here

+1 I flashed alpha build literally within 3 minutes if its release and it been my daily ever since.

It was even begrudgingly that folks gave crept to him for fixing audio, or so it seemed...

Damn trip y ppl gotta hate. And y u not be happy bud? You're solely responsible for a MoDaCo revolution! Not to mention a damn good rom for sensation a device which has proven to be a tough cookie for the dev world. You had it two days and we were rockin your alpha with deafening beats at that.

from day 1 i have flashed your every version of MIUI and it has been brill for me

i hope you can send out updates in the future to get this fully working. just need WiFi tether and Bluetooth working. and i suppose WiFi calling for when it ever hits UK.

but please don't let all the idiots stop you. if you have to, setup a paid forum or a paid version of your miui.

i have not donated yet, but would love to and will do as soon as i can, but if you made it a paid rom, with updates i will find the finances and be with you. this rom is just so awesome.

please please don't stop and keep us faithful loyal people happy with TripNMiUI

Too bad, this was the best rom for Sensation. I don't understand this sudden turning back to Trip, especially I don't understand the idiot who said how "now he understands why his girl left, etc." If you go through something like that, you never want it happen to anybody else. That's just awful. I am sure everybody has their own reasons, and I won't go into them. I don't want to be in Trip's skin right now and I feel sorry for everything the guy survived lately. Although I must admit there is some arrogance present in his posts from time to time, he has still to learn about public relations and marketing ;)

My message to Trip - there is only one way to overcome all this drama and personal impacts: keep building roms, make the best one around! Just as TripnMiui was until those ripoffs appeared. If you quit, which is the easiest way out, all this effort would be in vain and all the talent you have would be wasted. Don't do that to yourself, you will be sorry later when the dust falls down. You'll come out stronger out of this mess, I hope. Of course, in the future, protect your work as much as possible. ;)

P.S. I think the guy who told you to credit CM crew in the op is right.

back to the rom. trip, why on ur latest kernel from the other thread, wifi turns on good. but once its off, i turn it back on, it wont connect. i have to wait like 10 minutes and i turn it back on and it will connect. whys this?

OK, SO JUST TO GET UP THE SPEED? NO MORE MIUI RELEASE FROM "TripN?" What is the deal with Sensation and MIUI? Every other F%$*N! Phone has one? (Give or take a few). Found an issue with Google Maps, once its opened it keeps asking to sign in to a google account, even though im already signed in. Tried multiple times and reflashed.

Also noticed when tried to pair Bluetooth when you select the device you want to pair a black screen comes up and says Bluetooth pair request and theres nothing to click.

Other wise PERFECT rom

I had the same issue on 008, but then flashed the 2 kernal updates and it fixed it for me

Flash the one from the OP in this tread first, then flash the 050B from the newer tread. After that, go to advance and wipe devlik and fix permissions. Should be good after that.

I kinda got spoiled using Faux kernels and i still had issues with stock but never did try his kernel. this fixes bluetooth right. Google maps is driving me crazy.

Sry dont have BT so dont know bout that, meant for the maps. I have always just used 10 buck wire headsets, they have better call quality then most 50-80 dollar bt. And i am to cheap to spend hundreds on a bt. Plus i feel like i an CIA with my wires! lol

Edit: Crap i forgot i updated radio about the same time and to be honest i dont remember which was the fix for the maps.

I really can't duplicate that maps issue as my maps works perfectly. Locks super fast and is very accurate. If you want to see the way I flashed my setup check out the kernel thread. I don't use bt but I have had zero wifi/maps issues to date. Just thought I'd let people know. It could be in the process of flashing that things get a little messed up. Idk.
