So we can only hope for Wifi to be working again in next release? lol Not complaining its just I use it way to often unfortunately due to poor coverage in my area and to save minutes lol, otherwise this would be my daily driver. Thanks for all your hard work devs.

The kernel is the main piece of programming that the rom uses to operate. I have seen it compared this way: if a ROM is a car, the kernel is the engine.

After flashing my base band is 10.42.9007.oop_10.119007.15m. Is that the radio I should be on.

Trip already stated that he is NOT going to include the latest market with this ROM, so sorry bro, maybe in the future he'll make it possible to allow those of us who do want it will be able to install it at will, but that's royaly up to him.

BTW trip i'm seriously looking forward to test out your new kernal now :D sounds really dope. GREAT work man.

Guys asking for Wifi, read the posts instead of looking for Trip's posts to see if it says "wifi fixed and uploading", we already said how to fix it temporarily until Trip updates the ROM, let the man work on other things instead of poking on the f***ing wifi xDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Don't know your problem... It's easy to put the new market into rom before you install it. Use 7zip.

Nobody can judge what radio you should be using but you. Different radios work better in different locations. The best thing to do is search for a radio thread either here or on xda and read up on them, then make a nandroid backup and start flashing until you find a radio you like. Don't forget to learn about RIL's also. Some radios are really sensitive and using the wrong RIL will cause it to not work very well.

Don't be nervous to try out these things for yourself- Just make sure you back up your system first.

- Removed the locked 152mhz when screen off, it will just scale up and down acording the load

- Full range hacked audio driver

removes alot clipping, cause the audio is boosted at a lower level then it will be made "wider" and then pre-amplified and then again amplified by the corresponding taps department

Wipe cache if doesnt fix you need wipe data.

I ended up wiping both, then re-installing 009, then the new kernel. so far so good.....I'll keep testing :P

Did the normal 3 wipe routine, installed S009B1.9.30, wiped cache and delvik while still in recovery, flashed v2 kernel while still in recovery. Rebooted and let phone sit a few minutes. Rebooted again.

Then fired up wifi no problem, added my gmail account data and used the market to download TB. Trying to restore my apps from TB for a first time, hopefully it's not like shooting myself in the foot.

Trip- when will we be able to install TripNupdates without nuking and paving ?

Great work, everything seems very smooth; but is there a way to get bluetooth working on this kernel? I know this has been reported with the last few releases- I just don't know if anyone has answered it.

Hi trip!, thanks for the update, can you or someone else (if this was covered already in another area of the thread) tell me if the "Portable Hotspot" is a Kernel issue, or MIUI source issue, just curious. thanks!

I did this step. and it works! (+wifi) :) but the problem is, when i reboot it again, wi-fi doesnt connect. :( (still obtaining ip address...)

and its hot.
