I feel like such a newb. I just figured out you can use a standard launcher with MiUI. I'm using LauncherPro for example. Why would I do that to MiUI? Well, I like the Android app drawer more than pages of apps or slowly opening folders. Plus, this frees up tons of real estate for widgets. So now, I have the best of both worlds on my Sensation imo. I missed the fast launcher of a traditional AOSP rom but love the MiUI settings, fonts, messaging app, lockscreen, and TAPS (the real money maker here)!!!

Sheesh. I have more than bit my tongue here a few times, keeping myself from posting. IF..I had MOD rights as I do on "another" Network, that begins with the letter X, I would yank your silly posts a long time ago. Get a clue. You are clogging up the threads here with these repeat silly posts for your own wants. I have Plenty of my OWN WANTS too. I stated them ONCE. I asked Trip to reply to a PM. Eventually he did. I got to say what I wanted, and probably have 15-20 followers on PM's asking me for feedback etc on same issues. BUT..they are PM's and they do NOT clutter the threads here. Your clutter just generates more clutter from others tired of YOUR clutter. ENOUGH. GET A CLUE. Live with it or just go to another ROM. Tons of ROMs on XDA that ALL use new market.

Question, how hot is harmful? I use battery status app and get up to 104 fahrenheit sometimes with minimal use. Is this hurting my phone?

Just a trick I used to use from my Nexus one days and MIUI. Create a folder called applications. Drag ALL your apps into the folder. Edit the folder to list apps alphabetically. Place the folder on your launch area on bottom. You now basically have a scrolling drawer much like ADW. Not as fancy but you retain all the MIUI stuff, and you now cans till have an infinite amount of home screen pages. Yeah, you have to remember to drag a new app into the folder, but on my setups, that customized apps folder scrolls just as fast as ADW for example. Just offering an alternative instead of using a stock launcher.

I've done that too, but launcherpro just suits my tastes overall! Their calendar widget is quickly becoming the must have for me in my 6 weeks of Androidship lol.

Seems to get quite warm when your playing games for example, but it cools down very quickly afterwards and is cold to the touch at idle with screen off

Hi Trip, I flashed S009B, but still only have BT media. This may not be a key requirement for some, but I use BT for phone calls as well as listening to music.

The demo helicopter clip is awesome when played through my BT headset and the sound is unbelievably loud.

Have not had any other problems to date, but will keep testing.

Are you only thinking about the f..king new market? Every second post is about this damn market. I think there are things with more priority e.g. WiFi, gridsize, backup with multilanguage...

But updating the market shouldn't be so advanced...

No it wouldn't, but if you would read the thread you can see that it's been said 100 times that Trip doesn't WANT the new market and therefore will not include it. He likes the old one better. Simple as that.

great work Trip. loving the latest rom and kernel.

however i cant get m.tvcatchup.com to work on the lat 2 releases. any ideas anybody?

also previous rom when wifi tether has not worked, i have used wifi tether for root user's from market and this has worked. last 2 roms, this to does not work.

any idea's on a fix or workaround?

daaaaammnn, i am totally impressed with this ROM mate, you have done an extraordinary job! wifi connects, gps locks on fast, phone is super fast! battery has lasted a lot longer now you've done an impressive amount of work, i'm looking forward to your next release! just need wifi tether working and the alignment issues fixed and all would be super, also noticed you fixed the trash thing ^.^ once again, good job!

love this rom, been on it since the very first day. i had to flash back to a regular sense rom this morning. something about not having a fully function camera (can't even take a pic with the latest update) and the remaining wifi connection problem made me uneasy about really needing those features unexpectedly and not having them. will hopefully flash back soon as soon as more bugs are fixed because i know i won't be able to say goodbye to miui
