I've done that too, but launcherpro just suits my tastes overall! Their calendar widget is quickly becoming the must have for me in my 6 weeks of Androidship lol.

No Problem. I have both Launcher Pro as well as ADW paid apps. Just depends on my mood which I use at times :)

Because the kernel that xboarder is using has the bluetooth modules built for the rom (cm7 I believe). Trip just has to build some from source for us since he is rolling his own kernels now. Be patient, I'm sure Trip will address the issues eventually.

You would think users would read the darn thread or search before posting the same day to day rants. It's getting so old. I guess people don't know the meaning of a "search" function :(

I do run a new rom now, from Xboarder, also MIUI! With working wifi, and with new market.. much better rom for me ! :)

Good. Then just stay over there. I see your complaints about issues there too. There's just no making certain users happy. Don't mind you staying around here, but without the same day in and day out complaints.

When i saw this i inmediatly checked youre postcount therefore i will overlook this sentence this time. But if you start "defending" another rom being alpha make sure you verify what you say.

When this topic keeps going like this and when the amount of users of my rom drops i stop development, thats the only right thing to do then.

Am I still the only one getting obtaining IP address on WiFi?? I'm getting no connection. Can I have a fix??

actually we have the same problem. what i did is, (for the mean time) i turn-on, turn-off(wifi) and so on... until im connected. i dont know why. (just experimenting)

I tried xboarder's rom before flashing Trip's latest update, it has potential but still far away behind Trip's. I got really pissed off when I was doing quadrant benchmarking and some kind of internal error interrupted it after 5 seconds. For me personally, the perfect combination at this moment is Trip's rom + faux stock kernel, bt still doesn't work with it but everything else is smooth and fast. I am getting 3500+on quadrant regularly. :)

i don't have any issue with the rom... it works just nice for me as it is now...

but i have to flash something .... every friday at least :D

i started using MIUI 2010 on my desire, and you can imagine the excitement every Friday when new version came out :)

first version was unusable almost... and today it's the best rom ever (not only my words)

And now again; few weeks ago I bought sensation, and first thing i did was looking for MIUI.

for some i can only say, don't do (flash) roms if you don't get it... stick with sense and new market LOL

This latest build and kernel is the best build so far. I love the vdd capability and the option to be able to undervolt even more than stock. The battery life seems better than before but I'm still calibrating. I haven't done any benches because I don't care about them. System tuner works great. Besides the known stuff I have zero problems. Wifi has not been an issue at all.

Think everyone wants to flash every friday but thats absolutely not reasonable. There is just to MUCH i need to do everytime the new MIUI arives, also the multilanguage takes ages. Lots and lots of stuff need to be done manually file by file its terrible.

I'm currently building a complete kitchen (windows) to port the weekly update with 1 mouseclick. Basicly it doesnt matter which device you put in it, it always deliver a TripNMiUI custom rom. When thats finished we have updates very fast! B)

not sure why no one else but me has reported this- but i am getting a ton of random reboots with 9b. I installed like i usually do with other ROMS by doing a super wipe of everything and backing up my apps in titanium backup. am i the only one experiencing this? Also i get an error (not FC) when trying to enable wifi

I've gotten several but only when I undervolt too far. So I assumed it was my fault.

i have successfuly installed 09b but the new kernel isnt installing. Comes up as bad zip file

Try redownloading it on a PC and transferring to the sd I had the same issue at first.

That's what thederekjay does and he can't say enough good things about it. He does a cpl roms and kernels using a not/kitchen like you're talking about. I've seen it in action gotta say it's dope

I LOVE THIS ROM! Im not hatting, but man... this ROM eats battery life. I dont know if any of you guys are experiencing battery drain issues also, can you guys show me what you did to conserve battery life? Thanks in advance. (I GUESS BATTERY LIFE IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY FOR SUCH AN AWESOME ROM) THANKS TRIP.
