Wifi hotspot is now working, not 100% but it works.

It enables then directly goes to error but the AP stays active and it works like normal. To shut it down you need to reboot phone.

ps. my head is not on the roms so just have some patience

I just tried "official" miui.us ROM with the faux stock kernel (because of the no-service issue), the battery temperature broke all records and went on 44 degrees, and I was just doing quadrant benchmarks. :)

hi guys....

I've tried TripNMiUI_S009B.1.9.30-TripNRaVeR but with only this I could not get wifi working... (not even switch it on).... then I installed the v2 kernel.... 2.6.35.14_TripNKernel-v02

Now wifi is working but I cannot do anything which involves 'media' (I think it has somethinh to do with the sd card).

When I open for example camera I get 'android.process.media' has stopped unexpectedly.... same when I open file explorer.... or even try to play a song. (but within games and so I have sound)....

Soms one else have the same problem or solution ???? thanks

First fell in love with MIUI on my HTC Desire, but after a freak accident (involving alcohol) I managed to lose it.. and thought an upgrade was needed.

found your ROM for the HTC Sensation and was a little unsure if it would work on the XE but it did... and I am impressed, nice work.

The wifi didn't work for me. but the Kernel update seemed to solve that. And has been working fine.

Only thing I noticed is that it seems to run slower on the XE than the normal sensation... Only getting a quadrant score of 2700 :S have I done something wrong?

I notice you downgraded you HBOOT though.

I didn't need to do this, could be doing something to your phone :S

My only problem with this ROM is that Google Voice doesn't work for calling out. No matter what setting I use, it always uses my real number instead.

Try dif kernels they work with this rom, but yuo may break TAPS

yes revolutionary did it while getting S-OFF.... so

I cleared everything cash partition user data dalvik.... reinstlled the rom and kernel and now the media thing is gone so ;-)
