Hey guys I'm very new around here. Anyways Rom is Running Amazing after son Fixes.. Here They are:

Newest Version of Android Market 100% Working http://www.multiupload.com/RIIBH6D15Q

For APM - android.policy.jar (Just overwrite the original @ (system/framework/) http://www.multiupload.com/R8S6CR9HU6

Service BUG Fix by Restoring APN Settings From Stock ROM or Any Other ROM. (APN Backup and Restore.apk From Market) Here is my Backup.

I replaced the original android.policy.jar as you suggested and now I got the "Process system is not responding" FC and "The application Google Services Framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped unexpectedly". Had to pull my battery off and returned the original one. Not recommended. Maybe because I didn't set the right permissions?

Have to admit I'm looking forward to trying the new version once its uploaded, had to go back to sense for a week and now itching to get back to miui although I wish the camera was as good as the sense one and I know I'm opening myself up for a flaming but I had forgotten how much I like beats!!

For those getting bootloop here's the proper solution : :

1. Download Trip's ROM

2. Download faux123's kernel for cm7 ROMS [the one clocked at 1.56 GHz, not 1.78 GHz one] from his thread at xda.

3. Flash Trip's ROM, DONT reboot.

4. Flash faux kernel

5. Reboot phone

For those getting market FC, the solution is using old market(Only this worked for me)

1. Download Vending.apk from Multiupload

2. Copy the apk to /system/app using any convenient file manager with root access ( Root Explorer recommended).

3. Change the permissions of the vending.apk by looking at permissions the other apps have on the /system/app folder. [To view permissions or to change on Root Explorer, tap & hold any apk and select permissions].

4. Reboot.

And a way to update your camera to get touch to focus,

1. Download this Camera.apk

2. Install like any other apks.

3. Open Camera

4.Select settings, select touch on focus mode, and u then have touch to focus on ur camera.

Hope it worked perfectly..

And a suggestion for trip::

I think the problem of Boot loop is same as that happens in some phones with faux kernels at higher frequency. So maybe u can use faux kernel at 1.56 GHz as a base[just a suggestion], n i hope that should work.

APM do not need to be fixed. It will just include Advanced Power Manager to the ROM.

Just need to set right permissions.. Change files and Reboot system.

Hi all! I'm new but recently I started to use Trip's MIUI ROM version for Sensation. He made a great job.

One thing is still bothering me - I can't in easy way upgrade to the latest version of ROM without losing data (themes, system settings, calls and messages register, installed applications + their settings). MIUI backup application simply doesn't work for me (can backup only couple % of what I need). I don't want to use other stuff it not necessary. Can someone provide a correct way to perform full MIUI backup and restore it after in upgraded version of MIUI ROM?

Most of my music and notifications sound distorted through the phone speaker (I have also tried with all the equalizer settings for music). If I play my music through the headset (the one that came with the phone) the sound is a bit better but stil distorted at 80% of volume (two settings down from the max). It's a bit frustrating as the default ROM has near perfect sound quality through the whole scale of volume settings.

Am I the only one having this problem?
