Guest zivotinjnja Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Bluetooth works. Unfortunately, video recording doesn't work at all, only black screen shows up. When you press recording button, nothing happens, when you press the back button the phone reboots :)
Guest Vierbergen Tim Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 hi, Flashed the new one.... Quadrant score 2461... Which is only a bit more as the HTC desire HD (single core 1Ghz) ? (I have the sensation XE version) Market is not FC but I can't download anything (download was unsuccessful, please try again' tried 4 different apps) :-)
Guest chalie78910 Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) Bt dont work100% No Media sound on bt headset. Edited October 15, 2011 by chalie78910
Guest audiophile Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) Flashed new version. I can second the quadrant claim. . . .but it improved with several tests, antutu was more consistant and still showed a decrease. But battery is most important and iv yet to test it. Battery fall still seems steep but i haven't calibrated yet but it seemed to charge faster then before while in use. MARKET works again now :) HD video recording works beautifully! Guest Vierbergen Tim Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) It's probably because during the test the cpu is not working on max all the time.... (previous version was switching between max and min, which causes the battery to drain fast) This version is using the intermediate voltages to the cpu as well (Trip Am I right ?) Trip can u tell us something about the cpu settings ? and what about dual core ? You said you were kind of reverse engineering the honeycomb kernel ? with this kernel dual core should work no ? greetz Edited October 15, 2011 by Vierbergen Tim
Guest zivotinjnja Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) Switched to Bricked kernel, video recording also doesn't work, something better quadrant scores (max 3200). Led lights acting strangely (fixed green, pulsating red - at the same time), as well as with Trip's kernel. Edited October 15, 2011 by zivotinjnja
Guest NailDown Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 HD Recording Work Bluetooth not working (no sound in Headset ) Miui Player work good (no freeze anymore ) Market work good no FC I will test further
Guest TripNRaVeR Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Switched to Bricked kernel, video recording also doesn't work, something better quadrant scores (max 3200). Led lights acting strangely (fixed green, pulsating red - at the same time), as well as with Trip's kernel. Quadrant for me 3100 TripNKernel :) DO NOT post false test results.
Guest Arz Bhatia Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Still battery drain :( What about video recording Trip?
Guest stroobach Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 When do You release The normale volted kernel Stille getting the reboots after a few seconds D=
Guest Fusion600 Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Ran Quadrant to back up whichever side. 1st run 2550 2nd run 2980 3rd run 3250 4th run 3200 With a variable CPU speed, you will get differing results. If you are someone stuck on benchmark numbers, Trips pulls the highest number I have ever gotten running a 1.5Ghz kernel. Never broke 3000 on Quadrant on any of the others. Seat of the pants measurment is all that matters to me, and this ROM has zero lag anywhere, anytime. that is all that is important to me. Great job Trip. BTW the BT phone works beautifully, Music/audio does not connect.
Guest Fusion600 Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Still battery drain :( What about video recording Trip? HD Video recording is working perfectly for me, both front and back cameras. My battery is on par with the last version, in 13hrs. I still have 52% battery remaining, (moderate use being Saturday) Mostly Music about 2hrs., and market, downloaded around 30 apps today using wi-fi., which BTW works flawlessly. Oh yeah the Google TV remote has been running for about 4hrs. continuously.
Guest farfromovin Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Everything feels snappy. I get quadrants of 2700 warming up to 3508 after 4 consecutive runs which for me is faux 1.78 territory. Either way, it'll play the snot out of some Fruit Ninja and that's what I really want lol.
Guest zivotinjnja Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) Quadrant for me 3100 TripNKernel :) DO NOT post false test results. Trip, my man, i said "something better quadrant scores", and +100 (with Bricked kernel) is the "something" I am talking about ;) AFAIC, the rom is perfect, only needs small fixes (i.e.normal led light behaviour) to be titled stable release. Waiting for next update, keep up the good work. Edited October 16, 2011 by zivotinjnja
Guest Bxsteez Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 I'm getting random reboots. Is anyone else seeing this?
Guest jjben Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 trip, awesome work! Can we have AMAZE CAM on your rom?if possible...

Guest BummAround Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) Superb! Video recording in HD works. READ post #1 CAREFULLY & FOLLOW instructions CLOSELY before you rant, people! My opinion is that battery drain somehow caused by inaccurate battery gauge/monitoring by MIUI itself, so calibration won't eliminate the problem entirely. Observe & choose kernel(s) which allow the phone to sleep, variable freq is helping to ease the drain, too. Edited October 15, 2011 by BummAround

I was having battery problems too; but I changed my screen brightness from AUTO to Manual and set it to about 60% which is plenty bright for me and my battery life more than doubled. I don't know if there is something in the light sensor that uses more battery- but this phone now has great battery life (I use my phone ALL DAY at work)!! MIUI-S0101B.1.10.8-TripNRaVeR 2.6.35.14_TripNKernel-v0062 ONLY Complaint= No BT Audio Streaming (waiting patiently)

Thanks man, will read #1 from now on. :) Edited October 15, 2011 by zivotinjnja
