Guest Vierbergen Tim Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Trip, Kom jij uit nederland ???
Guest Vierbergen Tim Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Hi Trip! I made the battery monitorint and the results: Cell standby at the first place, than Display, third one is Phone idle and WLAN. As I read the last comments, I noticed that the heavy battery drain is mainly for the EU users. According to the battery usage results the battery drain is regarding the cell service. Really not kernel side issue, but it's in connection with rils or something. I tried 2 radios too, but same results. I also noticed, that sometimes the signal strength goes to 0 or 2barf, while my HD2 have always full signal The hard thing is to solve the issue while you have an 4G version, but we have here GSM phones waiting for your great rom for a daily use. Hope u can fix this, Greetings from Hungary :) You're not the first one that said that it could be the radio... Can u tell me wich ones you've tried ? thanks
Guest farfromovin Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Random but is there anyway we can customize where it says T-Mobile at the top? **UNTESTED- DO A NANDROID BACKUP FIRST** This was taken from XDA, but it's worth a shot. Remember to do a Nandroid backup first, for all I know this will lock you into a bootloop lol. I have not tested it yet. Here's extended settings flashable with the clock on the right Here's extended settings flashable with the clock in the center -Note- you will need to mount system in recovery first before it will allow an install...

Guest theseanteam Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 battery crap is possibly fixed $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Hope so. Thanks again for your efforts. Can't wait!
Guest jjben Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Mms app is also fixed, some more things and small bugs fixed. Also any heat/battery crap is possibly fixed That will be awesome!Everything is fantastic now! If the battery life could be long, then it's perfect for me! By the way,a app called "Battery monitor pro" can help to test the mA,I think if you can manage to get the mA below 100(when screen is off),it's a huge step then!

Guest farfromovin Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 (edited) better is bt media :D:D:D:D And a camera/video recorder that's similar to HTC Amaze You never know what Trip can do, this guy has crazy skills. I would've never imagined a developer adding CM7 settings to MiUI. Not sure if it's been done before. Either way, I'm rockin' it. I absolutely love the quiet hours setting (if it worked of course lol). --edit-- 13 hours today and I'm now down to 14%. Not too great for my Anker battery IMHO. I sent about 10 sms, used gtalk messaging for about 2 minutes, browsed with Tapatalk for about 20 minutes, and the rest of the time was standby. In my book, that's extremely light useage. I have a feeling I could drain this battery in about an hour if I tried lol (GPS+tethering on 4G+music player with screen constantly on) I haven't done any battery logging or looked at any stats. I'll take a look at that tomorrow unless Trip uploads his new update by then Edited October 19, 2011 by farfromovin
Guest BummAround Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Mms app is also fixed, some more things and small bugs fixed. Also any heat/battery crap is possibly fixed @Trip Above all, please take care of the heat/battery drain issue (while in use especially). I pointed out that Edit other levels under Auto Brightness > Advanced Mode..bla, bla always FC. Is it intended, i.e. we're not supposed to tinker with brightness filter manually one by one? HD vid record is a bonus, if you may. This ROM really, really rules!
Guest kelvinng Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Hi TripNRaVeR, 1) how to install google talk? 2) how to change grid to 5x5? 3) thanks for this fast rom although sometimes screen just blank while using camera, i got to pull out battery to reboot. 4) some apps also sometimes crash Thanks & Regards, kelvin
Guest r00tk1t Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 (edited) Trip, any chance to get compatibility with Extended Settings? At least as a mod Edited October 19, 2011 by r00tk1t
Guest farfromovin Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 @Trip- can you build in larger TMOUS mms settings? For example, the sense chefs were doing something where they would have a script that installed all the TMOUS stuff, then it would uninstall it at the end if you weren't a Sensation 4G device?
Guest etoD Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 just installed this rom on my new sensation. it's awesome! i have one request - can you plz put more voltages? I'd like to overclock my phone a little :) I've seen that the phone can run up to 1.8 stable. and if you dont want to do that do you think it would be possible to link me to kernel source code so I can just customize it a little? thanks m
Guest etoD Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 also btw it would be good ti have an option which removes the startup animation. from prev experience this improves boot times and besides that, i dont seem to be able to mute the boot animation anyway. thanks mark

Guest Bathyon Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 @ Trip Regarding battery. After two days on the 0105b my battery has really improved. I turned auto brightness and gps off. Pulled the phone from the charger at 7 am this morning and it's now 12.10 and my phone is on 96% still (4.06v). A few calls, some news reading. Light usage for sure but yesterday no usage at all would drain the battery in a few hours. Could the gps or auto brightness be the cause?
Guest dipje Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Is the echo (for the other party) in voice calls fixed for users who where experiencing it? Tried numerous radios and they didn't help. Also turning the volume down didn't help. It made it slightly better, but the issue was clearly still there. The ROM seemed fine otherwise but being unable to make calls was kind of a dealbreaker for me :S. Any news on this?
Guest zivotinjnja Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Did someone else also noticed that, when charging the phone, red led-light turns green when the battery level reaches 90% instead of 100%, or is it just me?...

I turn off the GPS, the drain is there. Something is going on with the auto brightness.....
