Guys who have problems of battery life on standby mode, try this

First calibrate your phones battery by downloading battery calibrator from market.

1. Download fauxclock [ snapdragon Dual core OC control ] from here

2. Install the application.

3. Open the app, and tick different freq for standby mode

4. Reduce the max frequency to anywhere around 500-600 MHz.

5. Tick set on Boot option.

If you get FC, install other kernel and it should work.

With this,trust me, i got my phone remaining in 100% even after 5 hrs of standby.

how can it be that display used 20% when it's off???

if he receives like 100 messages and each time the display lights up :-) and stays 2 min before going in standby :-) then it is possible....

I know this is possible.... but for testing the rom we should try to find problems/solutions instead of going around :-)

I didnt mean to tell that, my post was intended for those guys who want to use MIUI but getting huge drain.

Obviously i would like to see other solutions included on the ROM itself..

I changed my brightness settings to manually and around 40%. Also i changed WiFi-standby to never.

Last charge where yesterday until 11 AM. Phone was allways on, WiFi, 3G, GPS enabled. Normal usage(sms, e-mail, surfing around 2h, 10m youtube , some calls, and so on ). Today at 11 AM i plugged it in again. At this time the battery was at 30% !!! -> battery lost 70% at 24h

Battery is the ANKER 1900mAh

That's a BIG difference to the state where i had brightness at auto and WiFi at "WiFi off on screen off".
