File explorer problem:

Hi guys

The file explorer, under browse tab, is not showing any files. It used to work before i completely formatted the SD card. Im not sure if its because of erasing the whole card or its the card itself.

Is there a trick? Also, when i use quickpic, i always have to click "show hidden" to let me browse the pics.

Yes it is...but i also try and work .

With version 1.3 r3 have no signal problem....:P

After try all kernels i notice that the phone freeze all time when use a lot grafics....

i testing with quatrant ...few videos.... And the phone freeze some times take black screen...

Difficult every time remove otter box and then battery...:P

I have to downgrade :(

Also work for me v1.3 but I use 1.4 yet. If it works doesn't interesting this for sense or not first thing what I made after install kernel reduced to 1188Mhz max this for me enough & everything works fine :)

The 106b update has been working great so far. At first I had some touchscreen issues but that got sorted after a reboot. Will report on battery use tomorrow, so far everything has been really smooth.

Hey I was wondering if it would be possible to add the Extended Setting with center clock as an add on. That way way can have more customization to this nice rom. Also does anyone else have vibration on their keyboard. I have tried several keyboards and no vibration. Other than that very smooth rom. Thanks trip.

For keyboard vibration: extract, copy and replace to system/app and fix permissions.

Reboot twice.

First time when I tried to change governor to 'ondemand'.

Second when I tried to undervolt a bit ( - 12.5mV).

Looks like my phone doesn't like 'ondemand' nor undervolting now.

Stick with 'interactive', don't undervolt, and bump up the min freq to 384MHz. No more reboot.

Must be one or the combo of what I did that solves it. B)

BT pairing works, for sure, no trick/tip applies, just pair as usual. Not sure about BT media, though.

Oh yea, TripNSettings is not really working, but hey....

NOTE: For those who want to jump ship to MIUI.US' please go right ahead, and quit bitching like a girl. ;)

Reboots as well.

Fixed that the following way:

Flashed rom,

wiped dalvik and cache

reboot, wait 10 minutes, don't touch phone

reboot

restore with MIUI (without Notes, Notes FC)

reboot to recovery, wipe dalvik and cache

reboot.

wait

Okay, I re-flashed the ROM and it booted up and hanged and restarted again. And now it's fine! :)

Btw, what's up with the new keyboard? :P It's kind of ugly :P

It seems like the solution to reboots is as simple as full wipe & be patient (WAIT FOR 10 MINS) on the first boot. Don't apply undervolting!

I formatted and copied back all my files. It is an old microsd from my hd2. So maybe it is showing its age. It is detected hut file explorer does not show anything.

Ill buy another card and try it out.

SOLVED

I guess the "phone or file explorer" needed to somewhat make a "cache of the files" to store. The files under the browse tab does not say "0" anymore. They now show multiple files. I guess it takes about a day to have file explorer "detect" the files.

I agree with you on Extended Settings, would be great if that came standard with the ROM.

Keyboard vibration works fine for me in MultiLing keyboard (paid app).

battery drained very fast. i switched to bricked 1.4 and felt like it got even worse. after switching i realized that the cpu was locked to my overclock setting and never decreased i wonder if this was the same issue before i switched out the kernel
