Guest brian denmark Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Give it to me noooow Trip....its your fault....yeah you alone, that makes me sad if I sometimes go back to try a Sense rom. If battery draining is as good in the new rom/kernel as the last one, i will stay at TripNmiui for sure ! Last build I have around 1-3 ma draining overnight using Battery Monitor Widget (love when its still around 99%-100% after 9 hours sleep)....thats better than any of the roms I have tried from XDA...that being 18GB of roms on my SD card with a mix of aosp, sense 3.0 and 3.5 :o
Guest TripNRaVeR Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 A few days ago to get away from the kernels and crap i build a custom sense rom  It was hillarious but also fun, its always nice to have a fast stock rom and i dont want to download sense roms from xda cause they all claiming to be lightning fast and extremely speedy well from my own experience they are all exactly the same. That was making me build one and i'm not unhappy with the result, offcourse keeping in mind that it is stock sense.
Guest DaEmOn.K Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 can't wait... man, when will u release the beast?

Guest TripNRaVeR Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Its very attractive to jump on it and try but it this moment we need to conclude that ICS is extremely hard to run on our device, all other ports are easier because of the 480x854 screen resolution. We are quite unique with this screen (just look at all the resizing that needs to be done in every rom/port) I tried different things but to get it working i must sit at least a day to get it running and usable (a bit usable at least) I highly doubt if that is the way to go at this moment, i think it costs to much time now and when the sources are available it would all be pointless and your build will even be outdated inmediatly. Nevertheless i would love to run ICS
Guest Bluntedslc Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 So I finally have everything the way I like it in Trip N Miui. With a new version a few hours away what's the best way to back everything up?
Guest volscian Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 So I finally have everything the way I like it in Trip N Miui. With a new version a few hours away what's the best way to back everything up? Titanium Backup will backup the apk, as well as the data, and then give you the option of restoring the apk or the apk + data.
Guest Philmiui42 Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Good evening everyone, That I have always used different version you could do, but voila, I have a problem about the APK "Orange TV" I'm french and I have a subscription for this APK. But the worry is that it happens that the application is not recognized, it says I do not have the right, and when his work (I do this kind of hack here: We find this on internet these two lines to change are those below: Code: [select] ro.product.model =**** ro.product.brand =**** Change them as follows: Code: [select] ro.product.model = HTC Desire ro.product.brand = Orange_fr-b2b From what the hack, Orange TV works but the picture does the entire surface of the mobile screen. Would you have a way to fix this? Thank you hugely in advance for everyone.
Guest farfromovin Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Titanium Backup will backup the apk, as well as the data, and then give you the option of restoring the apk or the apk + data. Yeah, you can try MiUI backup for just the settings, and titanium backup for all the user apps + data. I can't remember if MiUI backup works or not on S01065B? If it doesn't, you just lose your call and sms logs and your settings. No biggie imo.
