Found an issue, I can't browse the SD card for new ringtones/SMS tones etc. I click the 'others' button and nothing happens. Is this cause I've removed the MIUI Music app (as I don't like to music)?

EDIT: Yep, that was the issue. All sorted! :D

Just installed latest rom. Seems to run hotter than previous. Also my battery Is draining more so far. . Battery indicator is saying that for a large continuous portion the device wasn't sleeping although it also indicated no apps or process active during this time.

Rom seems smooth and fast but when opening apps there sometime seems to be some lag when it freezes with a haf animation froze on screen. My SD card also still isn't being read for images and music but I believe this might be a problem on my side.

Im missing tripndroid settings but its grand because rom toolbox will work instead :) (fuax clock is no longer compatible with the kernal though)

Overall i love the rom as usual though.

As long as users base there issues with temperature only on a personal feeling i cannot say that it is true. I dont have it, it feels the same for any rom i try. Unless temperature's are read out by some apk we dont have a bug, cause there is nothing to verify. If anyone really thinks that the phone is getting hot, then post a apk that reads the temperature and we can all have a value that we can compare.

Only time my phone is hot is when i use usb charging, but that also is on sense, guess that supercharging is causing this.

Using System Tuner app to set freq on 384-1180 awake & 432 sleep, I don't believe the phone is running any hotter as some reported.

It's always 36-42 centigrade which is acceptable for me.

Thank you Trip for the wonderful Rom.

I have one problem though. One of my favourite apps is the soccer scores fotmob app. I have set it to update me on football matches with it's push alert function, but nothing happens. There is a function to test this, but when i press it nothing happens either. The app has worked on all the other Roms i have tried, can anybody help me?

P.S The app have worked on this Rom before. I think it was two updates back.

For all those specific game problems i cannot fix them, cause it would take to much time to investigate every single game someone likes. You just have to pray that it is fixed and that it was related to a know error.

Also i want to say once again, that using any overclock / tuning apps are against my advise. I know they mess with the rom and kernel settings.

The reason that faux clock isnt working is because i updated the cpu system 100% to 2.6.38 before i left it on 2.6.35, but i did need to upgrade that also that broke faux clock

That was the reason i stopped modding the launcher and alot of people complaining about a launcher FC.. Cant you fix it? Then it will be included in the rom?

yes you are right, it's not for everyone because you need to be carfull before installing app.

but it's not too bad, because if you make a mistake you can always fix it (remove the app, empty rows, reinstall).

it's just that 5X4 look so native. like it should look.

I don't know how to fix that, so this is the best we got.

i agree about the looks, i guess that the launcher needs to be decompiled and then somewhere should be an definition of number of rows and cols, it must be otherwise it wouldnt FC

anyone interested in searching? maybe its better to find a few people and split the files cause ctrl+F doesnt work lolz you need to do manual search

Hey guys,

thanks for this rom. It runs really good on my german sensation in contrast to the rom MiUi.us Sensation - v1.10.28.

The MIUI.us rom is not stable on german devices. By the way I had to change the kernel to fix the "no service" bug.

But this rom ist stable, german language is supportet and it has a nice speed.

But there are some problems with the the camera, similar to the MIUI.us rom. If I try to take a Video, I stuck in a "freeze" and i have to switch off the battery.

In addition, the phone switches off when making calls. I think the proximity sensor is the reason for that.

I have noticed that during a short look at the display while calling. The screen turns on and then the phone turns off immediatly.

Is there a special "bug tracking threat" or something else?

Is this version intended for using in the EU?

Mine locks up completely with recordring video. Is there a "max" setting for recording like "high" is max ?

Can i start Tripnsettings via apk as I as others cant find it...want 1.18ghz instead of 1.5ghz.

Or can you make a script for "reset max til 1.2ghz" like some devs have done ? (I cant myself, cry)

Hi trip, nice speed on this ROM, iam a big fan of MIUI and love this ROM, keep up the hard work.

How can I donate, because i really appreciate your work.

I installed latest ROM SO107B.Havent testet anything yet as i want my old setup back with all my apps before testing this new ROM.

Everything is running smoothly, until I restore my home screen settings with titanium backup, i get an FC in launcher.

I guess this is caused by the "home screen settings restore" from the previous ROM(SO1065 ROM), because I used the 5x4 mod.

Now I try somehow to go back to 4x4 screen setting to confirm(or not) if this is causing me the headache.

The rom does a full wipe automaticly and this will be as long as the rom is beta. FC is indeed caused by the 5x4 mod

Yesterday I noticed this ROM was making my battery go pretty fast. I figured it's just one of those MiUI things so I charged it 100% with HTC charger last night. Woke up this morning with a plugged in 100% charge and wiped battery stats to start the day. I made a 1min call and 3 sms messages and the phone lasted 4.5 hrs on standby basically and died. I'm almost done charging it a second time now from 0-100%. No reboots, nothing.

I really hope I can get a handle on this battery issue as this ROM is nice to run. It's real fast, and looks great theme-wise IMO.

For me the previous version seemed to be better with battery, also I'm getting alot of fc's and black screens and freezes when playing games or trying to launch them and with the camera which I never had before. It also gets hotter more frequently. Also I'm getting quadrants which are 500-700 lower than with previous version. . . . .which confuses me after hearing the talk of the wonder patch an all the updated bases :) hopefully there is something small causing this which will get ironed out In an update :D

On a side note personally I prefer the current launcher gridsize :)

Hard to believe you flashed the new version as clean install and nothing restored. It doesnt look like it at all from what i read out youre post.

Just fixed fully working ZSL, i have flashlight enabled and the picture is well directly taken, it is true instantly :lol: Its quite fun you know push and photo ready lolzz :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
