Guest fejker Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 After a couple of days using this last release, I have to say that this is the least stable release for me. This is the first time I'm getting random reboots, all previous releases worked fine for me. :/ Anxiously waiting for the next release.
Guest R1nGoStar_ Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 There will be something new. Basides this one updated i will upload my custom sense rom for anyone interested. And maybe another rom. Great news trip, hangin on :)

Could u share the specifics about random reboots you're having on this S0107B, i.e. is there any pattern to it? which apps? what condition? etc.

Random reboots after taking a picture with the camera. The touch screen is acting weird - in maps when I try to pinch to zoom or rotate it doesn't register and after turning the screen off and unlocking the phone it works OK. Previous releases used to work fine, it's just this last one that's causing problems for me.

Will app like System Tuner to underclock from 1.5GHz down to, say, 1.1GHz help?

Guest R1nGoStar_ Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 I get random reboots only in camera with HD setting. I can record anywhere from 4 - 30 seconds, then reboot. After reboot my widgets is gone on home screen. Still, I cant send MMS, It says "preparing to send", but nothing happens. I think this is due to my carrier(Telmore, Danmark) setting a limit to MMS size. Previously, on other roms I had a setting to choose from maximum Size MMS allowed to be send, 300,600,1000. With the default setting 1000, I was not able to send MMS,but if I changed to 600 then it works. Guess I need a setting in messages to do this. Any help on this is appreciated, thanks.

But I don't see why things should work at a lower CPU frequency because they worked at the same frequency a release back. And as far as I know, Trip didn't change the voltages.

Back one or two releases ago, turning up voltage @384MHz to 880-890mV resolved HD cam freeze/reboot. It's weird. Kernel change changes something....
Guest TripNRaVeR Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Kernel changes till now; - HTC Holiday Adreno 220 GPU drivers Holiday GPU libs required (included) Provides new framebuffer configuration options (untouched for now) - HTC Holiday Camera "ZSL" drivers - HTC Holiday board/chipset drivers - HTC Holiday nand drivers - HTC Puccini touchscreen drivers included - Sense 3.5 (Holiday/Pyramid) ready - ICS ready Removed; - HTC Perflock - OEM RAPI - SMD debugging
Guest BummAround Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 Trips, any particular reason as why on S01065B, if I bumped up the voltage @384MHz to 890mV the HD vide recording freeze is solved? Please increase the voltage ONLY @384MHz to around 887.5-890 mV as default, will you?

Guest 0ice Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 Hey BA, I can confirm if the voltage @384MHz is incresed by +12.5 mV the HD recording works fine what app did you use to change the voltage?
Guest Gazza10 Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 what app did you use to change the voltage? I used fauxclock as there were no voltage options in systemtuner pro.
Guest tomS01 Posted November 14, 2011 Report Posted November 14, 2011 I used fauxclock as there were no voltage options in systemtuner pro. Fauxclock is a good apk for settings.
