Guest TripNRaVeR Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 (edited) @scott Ok! will contact you. Anyone interested in testing the new kernel? (massive upgrade in camera perf.) FullHD shouldnt be a problem now, only thing is that first video is scrambled and badword up, after that its perfect, its just and only the first one. Personally i record a few sec video after flashing kernel and then i dont have to pay attention to it and use it normally. ps. because of user requests for a more "mainstream" kernel i decided to start this as a 2.6.35.14 kernel. When everything is tested and confirmed "Ok" by users i will rebuild the 2.6.38 and 3.1.0 kernel again. Edited November 15, 2011 by TripNRaVeR
Guest mofukr Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 I'd be happy to help test the new kernel. Actually, I'm usually available to test any new kernels or ROMs. BTW, thanks for your excellent effort. This is by far the best ROM I've tested.

Guest BummAround Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 and they they should co-opt Galnet & crew to reach a step closer to world domination :D Nah, disagree mate, as the real world domination goes unnoticed & unadvertised. Galnet? I don't think so, sorry.

Guest volscian Posted November 16, 2011 Report Posted November 16, 2011 (edited) So I know you're not fond of giving an eta, but curious to know when to expect an update (mainly cause I have to go to the library for downloading the next couple weeks). Also, are you going to release your new kernel seperate from the rom as well? I'd like to give it a try, pm me a link or something. Edited November 16, 2011 by volscian
Guest Fusion600 Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 Hey Trip, did I mention I would love to test out the kernel?
Guest McLongDong Posted November 17, 2011 Report Posted November 17, 2011 This is my first time using your ROM and instantly became a FAN! The only thing that bothers me is the lag when unlocking. Although I use Boot Manager and store the ROM as an SD ROM, this lag did not occur with Scott's ROM. Now that you guys are working together, maybe you can reduce this lag by integrating Scott's feature into your ROM? thanks
