Guest TripNRaVeR Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) Here we go! I tried a few times recording FullHD... now it works for me and also after a few reboots and crap it still works. 28000 mb/s no reboot... Hopefully for everyone now. Integrated LE audio drivers Removed 10% useless and not needed htc crap (simlock, perflock) lock lock lock hell no  and more removed L2 bandwith increase on the medium freq to compensate the performance loss in ondemand governor when it scales down after x sec of not using cpu Edit: Custom ZSL addon/addin Now in the config file ZSL is not set, i rebuild parts into the camera compartment, you notice this when taking pictures We need to find out if this is stable and not causing camera crash after xx amount of pictures or whatever I only test 1 video and 1 photo before every release, rest is up to you Results please! http://www.mediafire...73qfz6spwo5tqa4 Stable? And for the next release it means you always need to flash 001 first unless stated otherwise. Edited November 21, 2011 by TripNRaVeR

Guest Fusion600 Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 I went 1min28sec before it rebooted.
Guest audiophile Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) Just updated to latest kernal. . . . .lowest frequency lowered! Hopefully it'll make a small difference for battery. Also delighted to see smartassv2 back! One problem though I tink something might be left out because quadrant: First run:1200. Second run:1700. @1.5ghz ondemand After first run I watched it and the 3d molecule kept jumping down to 7fps. Edited November 21, 2011 by audiophile

So by the disclaimer above, this 002 kernel NEEDS to be flashed on top of the 001 kernel, NOT a clean install, correct? Just want to be absolutely sure.

Guest R1nGoStar_ Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) Mine was a clean install. Ok, mine too. But now I did it differently.(first time, I did full wipe, S0107B, then kernel 001 and 002) This time, Wiped all (factory reset) Flashed TripNMiUI_S0107B.1.11.4-TripNRaVeR Flashed 2.6.35.14_TripNKernel_XT_preview-002 Now I recorded 2 min.13 sec with no reboot, i am stoked :D Second time I did 1 min 18 sec.(was tired of holding it) Still no reboot. I also played back the videoes, NO REBOOT OR FREEZES, I like To sum it up: its apparently very important to wipe everything before flashing if you want camera HD recording to work. Guest jtsin67 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 (edited) Fresh install, full wipe, install ROM, install 001, install 002. nothing else installed. First run with camera hangs the phone. Pull battery to reboot. Second run same story. Thurd install fauxclock, set governor to performance and lock the cpu up at 1300. Runs fine for two runs, less than a minute each. Drop governor to smartassv2, crashes. Reload, back to ondemand and default settings for clock, works again for a short run then reloads. Next run and once i select camera and change to camcorder it just shows the camera screen running but screen and all buttons non-responsive. So for me its not stable. Trying as R1nGoStar and just go straight to 002 after ROM form fresh install. EDIT: Straight from fresh to 002 (bypass 001) same story more or less :( Edited November 22, 2011 by jtsin67

I won't be able to try this until this evening Indonesian time as I have an overseas visitor with me
Guest volscian Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Not too bad, I hit 3200 in Quadrant, and 6500 in Antutu. Only thing I'd like to see is a bit more speed, I know my phone can run 1782 MHz, I do overvolt a bit to hit that, but I can hit 4100 in Quadrant and 7200 in Antutu, so I know there is some room for improvement there. If you want to give it a try Trip, I would love to test out some kernels for you with some "extreme" settings.

Did you full wipe everything beforehand? Edited November 22, 2011 by BummAround
