I know!!! I'm having a blast though man. I am so pumped to have my fav ROM available. I mean I just set password for a few apps like quickboot and Titanium Backup so my kids can't accidentally do something crazy and it was so simple and intuitive. Just stuff like that makes me love this ROM so much!

I haven't seen that bug in this build personally but in myt4g it is something that happens in occasion with miui. I'm thinking it's a china thing not a Trip thing.

You should see the XDA police piling on me on Xboarder's thread. I mentioned I was using Trips ROM at the time of my posting. I wanted to help a user get past install issues of an app called Major league at Bat. Anyways, because I mentioned Trip in the same paragraph as a link to a download, they wrongly assumed I was directly linking a ROM by trip. I got piled on there for no good reason. After I realized they were incorrectly thinking I was linking a ROM on XDA to here, I jumped back asking for an apology. They were whining about new thread started on XDA that was linking the ROM here to XDA somehow. What a bunch of jurks. Yeah, I can say that since it was deserved. I think I will be coming back here for good. Going to keep at the wifi calling app, till I can figure out what's up. Go over there and have a laugh. Look at pages 168-170 I think. Not sure...going on memory :rolleyes:

OK, so I have managed to prevent the WiFi calling app from force closing on me but it is stuck at enabling. I took the lib files out of the LeeDroid TMOUS WiFi Pack zip and added them to Trips latest update. These libs were missing. Reflashed the ROM and installed WiFI calling app. Loads fine, no force closes that I was getting before adding the lib files. However stuck at enabling. I tried editing some of the lines in build.prop to match CM7, Sensation instead of HTC Sensation Zxxx, and rebooted but still stuck at enabling. I think I am missing some more files than just the lib files.

Will keep you guys posted.

That is how xda works these, because i heavily defended myself and letting the mods know that they act on personal like or dislike i did get the ban. To make it even worse.. I was banned for 2 weeks...... you know that you cant post while youre banned right

Suddenly after 1 week they changed my ban into perm ban because i did not cooperate with the mods :lol: :lol: Thats hillarious dont you think? I still dont know what they smoke there but they have there heads up in the clouds further and further. Xda is a shame for the android community

Its almost a personal guerilla against me... That is absolutely not the way you should handle a community with so many different users. Its a bloody shame!

i'm curious if anyone is experiencing the following bug:

often times when i press the power/unlock button on my phone the screen doesn't turn on right away. sometimes it will take a few seconds, sometimes it will come on right away, other times it won't come on at all. the capacitive buttons do light up but the screen stays off and you obviously can't unlock the phone. there have also been a couple times when i will get an incoming call and the screen doesn't come on causing me to miss the call. this happened both in the alpha build and the new beta. did a full wipe both times. i haven't seen anyone else post about this though.

the other bugs i can live with, but as i use my phone all day for work not being able to take calls makes it a no go for me.

this doesn't happen on stock or other sense based roms, obviously, nor the cm7 alpha kmobs released the other day.

Yup, it's crazy there. Everybody's pumping their ego and licking the mod's behinds. It makes me want to vomit ... not to mention all those "custom roms" are just the same (except for one or two gems). I know nobody cares, but I rarely look at XDA now that I have TripNMiUI on my phone. Thanks again, you're the real shizzle. :)

Just dropping a line to confirm the FM radio fc/no worky bug. Nit that I really care but many of our fine bros and sisters here (are there any ladies?) In any case, loving the rom I really don't know who it was that posted the first link to this forum in the MIUI thread on xda, buy THANK YOU!!!! Simultaneously ridding my life of a ton of unneeded drama, while providing a link to this beautiful ROM!

I believe I am at an impasse with the WiFi calling app. The app runs fine, no force closes with the Lib files added but unable to connect, stuck at enabling. I have tried editing build.prop, question here, can this be edited and then rebooted or do I need to change it in the file and then flash the ROM with the modified build.prop? I have tried flashing the T-Mo radio. Tried adding a custom APN, read this on a forum somewhere. But no luck. All I can think of is the build.prop needs to be modified before flashing the ROM or I am missing some component to add and I don't know what it is.

I saw that one indeed, and tought why not give it a go :rolleyes: The result is this rom here. Hopefully the users from xda will check here once in a while and hopefully some will join and start using this. The release will be tomorow. Maybe i get the wifi issue also solved then.

Quadrant score is almost 2900, dont know if this is good or bad cause i'm in the Sensation world for just 2 days now (prev. xperia x10)

Anyone who knows what some good or bad quadrant results would be?

yes sound is fully working, as a "start off" present i will include "xLoud - Mobile sound improvement" by Sony Ericsson. designed for the Xperia Arc and soon also available on the Sensation

I just came over from XDA as people were stressing over you about being band as someone posted a link to your rom. If this works i will wet my pants as been gaging for miui rom for my sensation. The guys over there are ok but every useable rom over there is sense or a copy of cm7 where every rom has the same issues.
