this will fix widget width and increased grid size to 5x4.

based on Andy Thomson Launcher MOD.

patched to fix widget and add hotseat.

Um, for starts, Trip, thanks a ton for the ROM. The original alpha became my daily driver as soon as it was released.

Both the CM7 Alpha and the second release of this ROM (The one based off CM7 Alpha) cause the black screen bug to appear for me. The screen dims to black but the capacitive stay lit up, and the power button stops working. It's lost all it's stability since this happens frequently. The original alpha did not have this problem but I don't know if you wrote the fix for it or if the fix was already in the base you were using. The CM folks will probably fix it eventually, so if you don't want to bother working on it, it's understandable. I just thought I should bring it to your attention. In the meantime, I'ma check out some new ROMs.

Awesome I have waiting for the MIUI rom for long time!

when will the official rom be ready for sensation? using this rom but the themes are not straight, they are off... :( and all the language in the themes are Chinese....

I hope I put this awesome rom soon!

OK,

after i wet myself when it booted and i played around i noticed 2 major issues for me.

1. the rom would go into aeroplane mode randomly

2. text messaging would fc all the time except when it was in aeroplane mode.

Im guessing this is a radio/ril issue?

my radio is 10.56.9035.00u_10.14.9035.01m

both issues have been discussed ad nauseum. messaging has been broken since the first release and the airplane mode problem is due to you, presumably, having the EU sensation. no perfect fixes for either as far as i remember.

If you dont have FC on first boot in mms then the temp solution would be remove /data/data/com.android.mms i'm guessing this is the correct name but you know what i mean

That's weird since every theme I've downloaded works and is in English. Now the lockscreens are a bit hit and miss. But idk where you're getting your themes brotha. The ones in theme manager though the names are Chinese apply in english. There are also a good many themes on miuiandroid.com. To say all themes are off is not an accurate depiction of the situation.

There are some definite shortcomings here and there to be sure.

Please don't take this the wrong way I'm not trying to flame you friend. I'm just trying to clarify for others. :D

This rom is the bomb btw. Ignore my sig my sensi is on the charger.

Hmmmm I should re-flash the rom or something...I ve got transformer theme and it was off in the lock screen and the home screen was slightly toward the left........I am noob with android I just rooted my phone starting flashing things.. what is the best way to flash the rom? I do wipe data factory reset, wipe cache and flash...maybe I should do something different....

build.prop shows 2.3.3 Gingerbread and HTC Sensation Z710E. I'm on US Tmobile.

Should be HTC Sensation 4G for Tmobile USA and NOT HTC Sensation z710e

The z is Euro. Just having that reference will block some apps from properly installing...specifically TMobile stuff for sure.

Nah probably don't need to reflash. May just be that theme. Widgets are off centered to the left unless you change the LCD density to 270 of flash the fix our buddy just posted. Lockscreen will be your issue though. Some of them definitely don't work but a lot of them do. I know for sure to stay away from evoleur lockscreen it you will have to factory reset and reflash. That one doesn't play well with our rom.

Using the build.prop that doc posted back on page 14 or so, I have added a number of line items to the build.prop in Trip's ROM. Now, when I first boot the device after flashing and connect to WiFi, I receive the pop up stating "Do you know you can make calls over WiFi". This is a step further than what the app was doing previously, being stuck at enabling. However now, the app hangs on reading SIM Card. If I try to turn of WiFi calling from withing the app I receive "Calling preference cannot be changed as SIM is invalid"

In this version I am only using one additional lib file, libkineto.so. So either I need the additional files my earlier attempts in order for it to read the SIM card correctly, or additional tweaks will be needed in the build.prop.

rom is great. been using since yesterday. only bad things are wifi calling and messaging app wont let me send to numbers. bummer. 8h 54m on battery and at 60%. about 1 hour of music. txting and games. pretty good battery life.

can someone tell me why mms takes so long to send?
