How did you guys get full size mms? while keeping regular messaging app and keep sms to non contacts??

nobodies doing anything special, seems to be luck of the draw...some people are just having different issues then others...still just a beta build remember

i have mms apk installed for mms size fix and i get all my sms contact and non contact. just wondering does anyone know a trick for me to get apps like facebook youtube and tumblr market always says not compatible with my drvice

Flashed with no issues

I pushed the mms.apk I posted earlier (from glacier) and the gtalk I posted earlier and I send and receive full size mms to contacts and noncontacts with no fc's YES!

GPS still not locking in for me. (Oh well) seems a lot snappier than last build. Gonna try 0.1.4 cm7 1.56 mhz by faux123 to see if the undevolting works like with last build. AND FINALLY.... I got something else to work too :)

Is anyone having issues with the home screen/launcher crashing? About thirty minutes after flashing, reflashing the launcher crashes. I've wiped data, cache, dalvic cache and everything else imaginable. Anyone having similar issues? Oh, and US Tmo Sensation.

Give me a minute til I can get to my comp but it is posted twice. Once by me and another by Docmjldds.

Oh ya and I can send texts to noncontacts ;)

rw-r-r In root manager. or.....

plug in phone

adb devices

adb remount

adb push mms.apk (make sure you have the right path) /system/app

Reboot after either method

The second way is easier to me but it's up to you.

yea have a mac so cant do adb, i know i can but im not savvy enough to be able to...and with the rw-r-r thats owner is read/write, r is group read and r is others read???

Yeah sorry. And you certainly can use adb on a mac. I do!!! LOL That's what I used today. (and all the time) except when I unlocked bootloader, I used my wife's hp for that.

ive got those checked and i go to install and it just goes to application not installed......i really need to learn ADB for mac cause seems like it solves everything lol

Don't actually install it just move it to the /system/app folder and change permissions and reboot. That's what the term "push" means. Sorry I was not clearer. It will ask if you want to replace the existing and say "yes". THAT will workl

ahhhh gotcha, rebooting now...also i just remembered how to start ADB but when I ./adb devices the "list of attached devices" is blank whats the deal?

Me too... Oh well I guess we can't have it all in a beta. Trip's been bustin out some serious work. Isn't it nuts? I've never seen anything like it. (except faux123 and his kernels) lol
