Guest Baadsha Posted September 15, 2011 Report Posted September 15, 2011 USB tethering is not working for me on latest version. Am I the only one with this problem? Is there a fix? Otherwise, excellent rom! Can we please have USB and WIFI tethering back in MIUI for sensation? pretty please? can the GPS be fixed too. apart from that the rest is all sweet and candy. loving my phone so much more now.

Guest dominante58 Posted September 15, 2011 Report Posted September 15, 2011 Hi everyone- 1st time poster here (been on XDA for a little while but since i tried this i havent looked back! :) ) I have been getting the FC on the launcher (android.acore something). I figured a way around it and have an idea why it might be doing that. I've only been getting it whenever i installed new apps, but not when i restored my apps from Titanium backup when i first load up the ROM....i think once you customize the screens (rearrange app icons and delete/add pages) is when you encounter the issue. I say this because i only changed around my screens after i restored from titanium backup, then when i tried to flash the new Gtalk1.3 through CWM, i started getting FC's. Then i just deleted data/wiped through CWD (didnt have to reflash) to get the error to go away. I then restored all my apps through Titanium backup again with no problems, then i moved around the icons and rearranged the pages and then tried to restore some more apps i didnt restore before from Titanium backup and then got the FC's again. This time, instead of doing a data wipe in CWM, i opted to tell MIUI in the force close which opened up the email, once the email was open i held down the home button and it let me choose settings, from there i went to apps and cleared the data for the launcher and it brought my screens and icons back to stock arrangement but didnt lose any of my apps (even the new ones i just restored). Hope this helps in fixing the bug for the next update!! Other than that this rom is AWESOME- i came from CM7 and i like this wayyyy better. Just a working flash would be nice :) Thanks again trip and sorry for your situation with your girl...been there before- best thing to do to take ur mind off it is get back on the prowl!

Guest TripNRaVeR Posted September 15, 2011 Report Posted September 15, 2011 I'm using the exact same package as i upload for you, i'll upload always what i think works the best. Ps changing kernels results in no support because I did alot inside the kernel/ramdisk to make the rom perform the way it does. So feel free to switch but do not request support. Thats fair i think.

Reasonable request. Anyway you could work in vdd support so we can undervolt and still be "official"?

Thats fair i think. 100% agreed. that is fair. but i have tried so many kernels and radio's that i am not sure if i am on the correct 1. or does this correct itself when i re-flash. (newb question i know)

Guest TripNRaVeR Posted September 15, 2011 Report Posted September 15, 2011 I would like to get undervolt etc in it, but i'm no expert at all in kernels.. This should also be possible with some modules right?

Just an FYI, some users asking for differences in Radio versions. I would think that Euro Sensations should use Euro based Radios and Tmobile Sensation 4G should stick with Tmobile Radio. Redundant, but I think a lot of people screw themselves up with haphazard Radio flashes. On another note, TMobile USA is basically 10.56.9035.00P_10.14.9035.01_M I found one reference to basically a close match that users were asking about... Current recommended Radio 10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01 Flashing instructions can be found Here When I downloaded this one, it had same androidtxt info as well as time stamp. After fastboot flashing the radio.img manually, bootloader shows the EXACT same version as I was using prior with the _M in the file name and .00P instead of .00U in first string of numbers. (PS Hyperlink doesn't work from XDA to here...Leedroid thread on XDA for those interested) NEVERMIND...link does work  http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1181137 (Pardon moi for linking to the dark side B)) PPS..Patiently waiting for update, but have the feeling since I am currently in flash withdrawals, I must submit to my depraved mind and update to the latest, but soon to be over-rided version.....
