I did NOT mod anything. I "borrowed" BOTH wifi calling apk and mms apk files from XboarderMOD_v1.0.2.zip which is older than his current. I basically have just been spending my last days here trying a slew of files after I knew that build.prop edits were as good as it would get.

Doc, WiFi calling up and running for me as well, using your build.prop settings and file. Think that may have been the same file I was trying earlier, curious as to what has changed. Glad you were able to sort it out. Thanks to Ray too for working on this as well.

Good deal. You and I were basically going thru the same hoops and rings. I could tell by your posts you had basically achieved same thing. Can't believe the amount of time we put in. And yes, I did try that file earlier. I have no idea what changed.

New kernal from the ACS team on XDA (ACS -they make great stuff! used their roms my EVO), asked them to try to fix BT for your rom.

Hopefully they will help!

I have NO FC's with launcher or installing apps. I routinely use a wipe utility for cleaning up and formatting prior to flashing any ROM. I would suggest a redo, maybe.

I have a random question..I used to have insertcoin rom and had the insertcoin boot screen...when I turn on the phone that is the first thing i see then it goes to MIUI boot screen.....it is like green background with please insert coin to continue on the right bottom corner..and no matter what I do it does not disappear...i did every wipe there is...and still there...I asked different places but I was ignored :( anyone know how to get rid of that? it gives me feeling of "not fully wiped" and I dont like it

the 1 problem with the MMS, its from CM7/ASOP so it doesn't have the same functionality as the MIUI msg app

Thats splash screen. Go on xda forum and find splash screen changing thread, and that will be fine..

Interesting, so I got the phone set up with Trip's latest, tried downloading an app and got the force closure on launcher that has been mentioned. So I used the superwipe file that Doc posted a couple of pages back and reflashed the rom. Just downloaded the same app, no issues with launcher.

Thank you. I know that anecdotally, others will post to clear a cache or fix permissions, or reflash after wiping Dalvik, etc etc. I'm not saying there isn't a need for these methods at times, but I would prefer to see users ALL installing the same way. Then, if there are consistent issues, to try these other methods. I can't tell you how much less clutter I have seen on any number or Roms from my Nexus One days to here, when users would super wipe so to speak their partitions. In the past, no one would format or wipe the /system.

Plus something different now with the Sensation from prior phones I was use to. Having at a minimum, the /system folder formatted as EXT4. I'm used to setting up EXT partitions in adavance of installations using either EXT3 or 4. This goes a step further I believe with formatting all the partitions it wipes as EXT4. I could be wrong on that. But the super wipes will many times clean up leftover data from simple wipe utilities used on recovery partitions.

CWM and choose zip from sd this must be the first before rom install!

This make for you fully wipe as ext4!

The only BT I currently use is my Nissan Car radio. 2B version no audio but did pair. 3B pairs and perfect audio. No problems for me.

Yes...Beta 3 now has working Bluetooth, wifi calling with apk I linked and large MMS files with apk I linked. But to make this really easy, I did NOT have to push with ADB or use root explorer. Simple file manager click to install the apk and it installs and works :)

Hey Trip, just wondering. Is Portable WLAN Hotspot a high priority on things to fix? I get an Error message when trying to turn it on, and it disappeared as an option on the build before this one .
