got a question that isnt ROM related but theres seems to be some very intelligent minds in here and havent found help via google...

so my problem is with ADB, ./adb devices is blank, ive done everything from reinstalling SDK and rebooting computer/phone and nothing is working, on a Mac thats what the ./ is for...anyone have any ideas???

p.s. phone is connected and USB debugging is enabled

Well I just restored to my old boring rom(lock screen still not fixed :( )....GPS and Bt working fine...sigh but I doesnt feel right........going to wait patiently for the fully working ROM

anyways where can I find the Faux kernel? just gonna give a try..

I had the gps issue (posted details a few pages back).

I couldn't get lock on any satelite and the gps icon didn't show in the taskbar. I flashed 003b several times with full wipe between. Used posted zip from this thread for superwipe. Tried all gps fix tips in the thread. Nothing helped. I figured it might have something to do with which previous rom I came from when installing beta 003. I went from b001 to b003. I'm a total noob about this so don't laugh about my reasoning :).

Anyway. I flashed Revoution HD 3.1 which I knew gps worked with for me and the gps locked on to nine satelites within 30 seconds. I then did a full wipe as always and installed the miui b003 again as tried many times before, but this time the gps worked like a charm. Locked on to 9 satelites within 10 seconds. It was as if the memory about my location was still there. Agps is still a no go so I wont get a position indoors unless close to a window.

As stated above, I'm a total noob in the tech departement. Just wanted to post this. It was probably just a fluke or something, but maby it will help someone somewhere :).

the above fix the issue for me to. flashed a sense rom. gps and wireless location working fine.

flashed back miui and GPS is fine. but i still get no location in latitude.

will wait for latest rom. lets hope all is fixed.

always fix permissions after flashing. my sense setup was a nandroid backup. i rewiped and reinstalled the sense backup again and gps wrks thought it took 24min 17sec to get a locked. yea i timed it. this is crazy. the rom is the beast rom. with miui i used faux's kernal but Trip said no support for modified kernals, so i re-wiped with my tedious process and kept everything stock and still no gps. tried that xda method too and that didn't work so i rewiped and tried stock again and still no gps

Are you running stock Build.prop or modified?

I will upload mine. That's the only thing I can think of is it thinks you are running a Euro model and YOU are in US.

Back in a few short min with a link. Use mine. Make sure the file permissions are correct. Reboot and see what happens

Hey guys i've tried everything to get gps working and nothing has worked until I tried this. I got a lock in like 10 seconds

That does the same as faster Fix. It is just changing the location of the servers you are locking on to. I posted my build.prop wjhich is basically a customized version to ensure TMobile USA is recognized as the phone. That fix is really doing the same as what I have users doing here. But I feel honored that it's posted AFTER I basically have users here doing the same.

i first wanna thank everybody for their help. i found a fix for gps. i hope posting the link is not against the rules. took me 15secs and got 8 satellites finally.

This is just doing the same thing I had everyone trying to do. Plus if you read the thread comments after the install, the comments are "this helps TMobile US users"

Yep, works great. I get 3800-4000 in Quadrant with the 1.68mhz kernel.

I changed it to a local name and that didn't help. When I got i working (see post earlier) it works just fine with 0.north-america. So I believe you are right about it don't matter.

Yes. Quadrant scores are out of this world. I am back to stock since Trip will not offer support if you are running any modded kernel.

My scores were consistently 4000's +

In next update using another kernel will disable xloud, mobile bravia, multimedia performance back to stock, so basicly all settings will downgraded to miui default.

Obviously less. I have not tried modding voltages (undervolt) to help balance. But I am strictly back to stock, so that I can enjoy Trips mods :)
