Trip this is amazing! I like the new features like the power widgets on notification bar. Also, i was one with gps issues, tested following , i think it was doc's advice, fixing permissions first, then opening gps status and waiting for that to lock on first then use maps.... AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!! This ROM is FAST!!! I was using an XE rom at 1.5ghz and that seemed slow compared to this!! I mean seriously top notch here. Thanks for the hard work!

Edit: AGPS still seems like a no-go. But with reg GPS working, i dont need to know where i am inside of buildings :) . It is locking on to 5-7 sats outside within 20 secs, which makes it perfect for me.

TAPS (TripNDroid Audio Processing System) now ready to go public.

Prepare yourselfs! The audio is UNBELIEVABLE to say the least... Finally we have a software processing of 5.1 surround sound.

TAPS:

what does it do?

TAPS takes over the whole audio system of youre phone without the need of crappy apps, settings and other things to improve the phone audio. Basicly this system catches up an sound signal rebuild, edit, revise or whatever is needed to make it HQ and passes it trough, this all happens without any delay and using low cpu resources. The first release was not ready for playing LQ phone ringtones, this is 85% improved in the first public ALPHA version. Even ringtones will be boosted to produce Dolby SRS output.

The interesting part is that when you compare the system audio without TAPS (the version that is online now) against the upcoming (TAPS) version you get this:

- Volume is about 60% louder

- Clearness increased with almost 40% (on max volume)

- Stereo output replaced with 5.1 surround sound

- HtcBeats working together with Dolby SRS to produce the best possible bass for this phone

All combined with TAPS into a single audio processing system.

Thanks You TRIP. No rom's sound can compare yours in speaker. But with headphone on, sense rom with Beat sounds better ( my oppinion )

The pix are NOT 1Kb in size. The mms.apk file works. If you look at the same file properties in the gosmsPro app, it will show the full KB size. I posted this to prove that it's an anomally that it reports 1kb. A 1Kb size pix ...you would need a magnifying glass to see it.

Open up the same picture in GosmsPro and right mouse click and look at the picture properties.

One thing I forgot to post. I have been doing this for a long time. I never like the dual APN's that you see when looking. And this was posted as a fix for TMobile users as following on the XDA thread involving CM7 tricks etc.

CORRECT APN SETTINGS FOR TMOBILE-US USERS

Fixed my issues with Wifi-Calling MMS.

I talked to TMobile and they gave me the correct info for the APN settings.

I deleted both of the APNs listed under wireless settings and created a new one.

Just in case any of you are having issues with SMS or MMS using Wifi-Calling.. give this a shot.

Create a new APN.

Name: T-Mobile

APN: epc.tmobile.com

Proxy: 216.155.165.050

Port: 8080

Username: leave blank

Password: leave blank

Server: leave blank

MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t....com/mms/wapenc

MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.050

MMS Port: 8080

MCC: 310

MNC: 260

Authentication Type: leave blank

APN: default,supl,mms (Very important to not have a space in there.. just the ,)

hit the menu button and hit save. then use that apn. You should now have working MMS and SMS.

Yeah I understand that and I've got the exact same settings setup for my APN as I had to do the exact samething when I first came over to T-Mobile with an iPhone 3G as I had the same issues with picture sizes, however there was an option in the APN settings that allowed you to adjust the maximum mms size for the iPhone that the Sensation is not showing. The above settings did not help the picture size problem I am getting from messages received, they are still tiny tiny tiny! lol. Thanks again for your help and I will continue to try and figure out a way to get the default miui messanger receiver larger pictures as I really want to use the default manager integrated into miui, I just want to be able to receive large "clear" pictures :) Thanks again

I've never had that problem and I still don't have it on 4B. I haven't had one FC yet.

I was having it on s003B ... in fact just put some new blank pages to your homescreen and it will not FC :) I suppose you've downloaded so many apps that the last page was full and if launcher comes to the end, it will crash...

I just flashed the s004B then set up my google account and made some new screens on the launchers, put apk where i liek them to be on certain screens and begin to dl apk, but at the 2nd apk launcher FC :"'(

This seems to be the case. After I install faux I lose the audio features. Too bad because faux at 1.56Ghz + undervolt gives me a good 20+ hours with 3B.
