Great ROM Gps is working very quick!!

Love the rom BUT getting fc on launcher, stock or otherwise tried 3. I used a wipe script, wiped manually, and reflashed 3 times, still same problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (REALLY want to use this rom but launcher fc's make it unusable).

P.S.

I'm sure its something I'm doing wrong, not the roms fault

Getting fc's when installing apps and setting up email

If you get FC errors when installing apps, there may be an issue with the /cache partition. Go into CWM > mounts > format /cache.

I had this issue once or twice a while back and posted about it, but I think my post had too many words. May B I nd 2 type N tweet wrdz OMFG LULZ ok!?

Hello Trip,this is certainly a great relase. Very smooth and fast. For me there is one issue I would lke you to look into. I'm on Vodafone (NL) and location doesn't work. Any idea what would solve this problem.

I'm using version S004B. (dutch language settings)

Then i'm guessing you shouldnt update to newer versions anymore :lol: All the extra's besides unmodified stock miui will not work.. so it makes it pretty useless to upgrade

I tried it with S003B and the phone won't boot at all so I went back to the original one. With S004B still experiencing the no service bug, hope th new update fixes it.

okay....so here is my findings on 004B

My Market opened up just fine for 30 seconds then it began to FC

I opened up the RADIO "said to plug in head phones"...so i plugged them in...Now I get a black screen followed by a FC. I wiped Cache, Dalvik, Fix permissions and on a fresh boot click on radio same thing happens. black screen follow by FC.

Audio: Appears to be much lower than previous build. I know you wrote it was like 40% louder but dont see how?

I also played the hellicopter video...sounds great. you can hear all the panning of the effects from one side to the other but volume is low and not that impressive.

are we suppose to see something special pop up and or press something to get the super volume working?

Camera & flash still dont work

Some of the "menu icons" come out dark and not shaded in white.

so is anyone experiencing these things as well?

also. TripNRaver....for the camera.apk you are using its a blue theme? is there anyway you can theme it to be more concise with the theme the OS has? like maybe just a black one to keep it neutral?

I'm loving the new ROM. the backup is the only thing I miss... But only because I'm lazy. I've reinstalled everything on my own and I am very impressed with the sound improvements. Great job!

004B is awesome and I can deal with the camera flash and other minor issues, no big deal. However, the Launcher FCs are just frustrating. I've tried various things (clearing app data, which fixes temporarily, and formatting data all to no avail.

Trip: are you not experiencing this? I see a lot of users have reported the same thing for 3B and 4B
