It's okay. You crank out these updates so fast, it doesn't even matter. I've helped out a dev with troubleshooting this stuff before. If people only knew how much of a hassle it is to keep flashing, pushing files, etc... major props to you dude.

This release runs also for ~40% on the TripNEngine. That is a custom very basic OS to run the phone, you can compare it best with an Google platform (SDK 10, Gingerbread) for example. The deepest core is basicly Honeycomb 3.2 filled up with the CyanogenMod 7 features.

This one is correct.

I flashed back to the older radio and flashed the newest rom. Version is showing 005B, radio is 10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M

Unfortunately I still have no radio... Which is the correct radio version for EEU Sensations?

when i power it up, i havereception, but as soon as the screen turns off, radio is being kicked and will never come back

any reason why everyone who is having MIUI backup issues cant use titanium backup? same process same results...

I would guess they want the same desktop configuration.

whenever i restore via titanium it always restores my desktops minus the widgets

hey trip, just wondering for a future build, and this is not needed by any means, but can you group the widgets folders into the same category...example theres like 10 beautiful widget options, cant you make a single beautiful widget folder that opens to all the options....i think CM7 does this...thanks man

The incude RIL is 2.2.0159HMQ,

To check to see what RIL you have run getprop "gsm.version.ril-impl" in Terminal Emulator

I am going to flash the 0169 ril to match my tmos radio, will see if that has any effect.

Not sure Trip know this yet. Or if it makes a difference. I do know anecdotally 169 is supposed to be better, but I used to run in that way and was told to use 159. Too many chefs in the kitchen...sometimes. Thanks for running the getprop and providing the readout. Saved me a step. I also am still catching up on reading...never installed the last latest and see tripp has the stability update out now.

EDIT: I see that 159 is the way to go and NOT169. Please no reason to correct me...I read about issues already

yeah just had the same result,

Love it when you guys run a fix, find out it breaks stuff, BEFORE I have a chance...thanks for saving me time B)

I guess since this is 2.3.5 base, we really don't know what's the best.

They want widgets too :P

I don't know. I'm guessing. I usually use Titanium backup, and when using ADW, restore desktop. But I flash so often that it's no big deal to customize a setup.

My Guide to Crack Flashing

These are my steps for crack flashing. Everyone has their own way of doing things, but here are my steps if anyone finds them useful. I don't have many of the issues others have in the thread, but not all phones are equal and not all methods work for everyone. If something says OPTIONAL, I usually only do it when I feel it's important and not when I'm feeling "cracky."

The first (3) steps only have to be done once.

== Pre-crack-requisites ==

- Purchase and install Titanium Backup from Market (it's worth it)

- Install Android file manager (Astro or Root Explorer)

- Copy /data/app/com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup.apk to your SD card (I use the folder /sdcard/download)

- Download new ROM to SDcard

- Backup ROM with Titanium Backup (backup system and application data)

== Crack Flash ROM ==

- Boot into CWM

- OPTIONAL: Backup existing ROM in CWM (I only do this when going between 2 completely different ROMs - for example, going from Sense to MIUI or CM7, or if my current setup runs EXTREMELY well)

- Wipe Data/Factory Reset (regardless if a ROM has this scripted, it's a GOOD habit)

- Flash ROM

- Before booting ROM, go into Mounts and Storage, format Cache (NOT Wipe Dalvik Cache - I do this because with Trip's MIUI, I sometimes have issues installing apps and this resolves it)

- Boot to ROM

== Post-crack-flash steps ==

- OPTIONAL: Immediately put phone in Airplane mode to prevent getting calls or texts while you're restoring data

- Open File Explorer, go to APKs or select SDcard, install your Titanium Backup APK you saved to your SDcard earlier

- Open Titanium Backup

- Select Batch and choose to Restore missing apps with data; select all and restore App+Data

- Select Batch and choose to Restore all system data; click Deselect all and manually select ONLY what you see in GREEN - do NOT select anything you may have had issues with before or anything you don't need (like music playlists) to prevent any issues

== More post-crack-flash steps ==

- I have Google Talk installed and backed up as a system app, so I have to manually re-install it... scroll to Talk and restore app with no data (app only)

- I have the new Market app installed, so I have to uninstall the current one and restore the newer one... scroll to Market 2.3.6, wipe data, uninstall, restore Market 3.1.3 with no data (app only)

== Crack Clean Up ==

- In Titanium Backup, click Menu and Clean up the dalvik cache

- Immediately Reboot without leaving Titanium Backup

- After rebooting, allow permission for restored Google Apps (Google Voice, Google Reader, etc.)

- Check your account sync settings in Setup

- Might have to sign out of, then back into Chrome to Phone (or other apps) if they do not reconnect automatically

- Check voicemail settings if you use Google Voice

- Check notification settings if you use Gmail

- Send Trip a beer 'cause dude puts in WORK!!
