Everytime there is an update, I download it at 6 AM just before I go to work, then flash it at work ... this is addictive.

I guess I'll have to skip v6 and go right for v7. The update sounds nice.

You cannot restore desktop layout from a launcher that has 4x4 layout as standard, to make sure you dont get launcher FC do not restore desktop layout. If you do after reboot you will get FC and need a data wipe again

It is enough to just wipe launcher settings. That worked a treat for me.

i highly doubt that has anything to do with it. miuiandroid.com only puts out the english roms. i can't imagine the actual miui devs will pull support for 15+ devices. if anything i'm sure it has more to the with the feud between miui.us and miuiandroid.com than anything. personally i'm tired of all the drama.

hopefully you are right.... agreed about the drama too. I just wanna use miui and trip is all over it, so i hope to see his versions go forth and prosper!

If you hold down the Home button after experiencing FC's from the launcher, then go to Manage Applications and Wipe the settings of the Launcher app it'll stop FCing.

I totally agree. Besides certain launcher settings, they're the exact same. Needs to end quickly.

Is this why you haven't posted this ROM on any of the official MIUI sites yet? Because of the "drama" and all the other stuff going on?

How is your data connections already solved?

Never had any data connection issues, I did have some GPS issues but it seams to be working better and better. On v5 GPS works, but slow and you really need to be outside or at the window with a clear view of the sky. I'm guessing with v6 AGPS also works so this issue is solved.

Call quality on v5 is better than ever even though there is a slight "robotic" voice mutation going on, but it is much better than first releases, at least now you can hear the person with the in-call volume half way up. From what Trip is saying, v6 must be even better.

It's a bit annoying that I have to set up my home screens every time I flash a new version (if I restore the launcher data I get FCs) but getting used to just leaving all the crap as is and just adding the useful widgets to the screen. :)

About the MMS small pictures ... mine work fine. I get a small thumb attached to the message and when I select it it brings up the bigger picture. I don't know if this is the bug other people are describing but it's always been like this for me and it seams normal.

For reference, I'm from Europe (Slovenia) and I don't know where my Sensation is from, bought it here at a local shop so it must be an EU one - baseband says 10.56.9035.00U_10.14.9035.01_M.

No...I just zipped up an upload along with my build.prop for TMobileUS users that want to see my edits to have wifi calling working. I do NOT know if the edits make a difference for mms. I only tested mms AFTER installing wifi calling.

Unzip the file. Install either file as a normal apk. Double click on file manager. It should update ontop of exhisting mms.apk file

EDIT: Files do NOT need to be ADB pushed, Nor do they need to have root explorer used. You can, but no need :)

EDIT 2: Obviously, the build.prop is renamed.txt so you can easily see changes. I would suggest a side by side comparison to see how I change to have phone seen as Tmobile USA and NOT a Euro model. Not that I suggest it, but you could rename back to build.prop and just use my edited version. I only changed what I felt was needed or missing based on my prior build.prop that worked. If Trip or anyone sees a line that may be NOT needed or is going to mess up his sounds setup, all input appreciated.

I love that mod and ever since last Thursday it's a no go with trip's build. Too bad Cuz it worked with all prior builds. I have no idea what the prob is but I'm sure it has to do with the launcher being custom (not 4x4).
