I really really wish you could build your Tap Into either Bricked CM7 kernal or Faux it runs sooooo damn good add the audio and some of your tweaks and it would be perfect build :)

Why does my phone batter always feel so hot with this ROM? Also this ROM kills battery like crazy, (I'm not hatting, i love his work) but yeah, battery pretty much sucks on these alpha builds. :-s

makes no sense, im getting best battery on this ROM then any other....do you have battery monitoring on? if not, go into system settings and toggle "monitor battery usage" on...use your phone as you normally would for a day then go into the "battery use" option and you can see just what is using battery...i had poor battery life until i did this and realized several apps were running constantly and sucking battery, well i turned those off and now i have great life.....select the graph at the top of the "battery use details" and it will show you specifically when the app was using battery among other things

Are you sure it's the battery and not the processor? My phone gets warm with this rom also but its below the battery not the battery itself ( I pulled the battery to check and it was cool). If your using a custom kernel you might try underclocking.

i either use adb to push it to /system/app or i use root explorer and put it in the same location and set the permissions: put a mark in owner: read/write group:read others:read. Then reboot

Of backup in titanium uninstall market and it automatically switches to the newest and reinstall. Of course you'd need a backup from before. If younfind, that's the easiest way I've found.

No...I just zipped up an upload along with my build.prop for TMobileUS users that want to see my edits to have wifi calling working. I do NOT know if the edits make a difference for mms. I only tested mms AFTER installing wifi calling.

Unzip the file. Install either file as a normal apk. Double click on file manager. It should update ontop of exhisting mms.apk file

EDIT: Files do NOT need to be ADB pushed, Nor do they need to have root explorer used. You can, but no need :)

EDIT 2: Obviously, the build.prop is renamed.txt so you can easily see changes. I would suggest a side by side comparison to see how I change to have phone seen as Tmobile USA and NOT a Euro model. Not that I suggest it, but you could rename back to build.prop and just use my edited version. I only changed what I felt was needed or missing based on my prior build.prop that worked. If Trip or anyone sees a line that may be NOT needed or is going to mess up his sounds setup, all input appreciated.

Any way you could send me/post a version that isn't 7zip file format? I have a macbook pro... Lol

Love this rom. Honestly do but just unreliable for me right now. Tried all the fixes. Ill wait until some more updates. Its just the battery life on this tool is insane it never dies LOL oh well. Great job trip .

Wow. Gps bug is totally gone on the latest build! I made no adjustments to anything and gps locked on my location in under 2 seconds! FAST! Nice work trip. It's too late tontedt out the audio experience but I can't wait. I'm gonna try my fav mod the es (extra settings) center and are if it'll work. I know this has been problematic since last Thursday but I gotta try! It should actually come stock IMO for miui. Its super dope.

Wifi hotspot fixed allready dont know where you get this info but probably you should flash S006B.

wifi hotspot is fixed in 006.

and it always has been working if you use wifi tether for root from market.

I always leave it with the kernel the rom comes with. i never underclock or overclock my phone and yeah, battery life for me sucks with Miui rom. I love it though, but i have no idea what is killing it.

I will reduce battery drain in next version, you will loose some performance tough. The reason i dont include Faux or Bricked kernel is because it runs at 1,9Ghz you gotta be kiddin me? There is no reason in the world i would like that cpu speed. That will never happen.
