I dont get it??? Everyone is complaining that all features must work.... and now people saying yeah well bluetooth and wifi hotspot dont need to be working. As long as my Quadrant score gets 50 points higher i'm happy to give up bluetooth :mellow:

How much time will it take before i see messages here.. "Hey trip can you please remove Mms.apk and Phone.apk because with oc'd kernel till 2ghz and those 2 apps removed the Quadrant score gets 8 points higher":lol:

I for one would love to see concentrated effort to work on the basics of MIUI working first. Then your mods next. And when all of that is done...then worry about benchmarking. My Nexus One with a 1400 benchmark on Quadrant ran everything with NO BUGS. I could care less that certain games would not compete on levels with a desktop computer. A lot of us here I know feel the same way. I was extremely happy to finally be able to just hear a ringtone without using dsp manager, or Volume+, or running my ogg files thru software to increase the volume. IOW...Bluetooth, camera functionality, GPS, and yes, I would even change my priority and place your sound additions on the same level as basic functionality, since low sound has always been one of the downsides to the Sensation.

For those wanting to run a ROM with extreme overclocking, there's tons of stuff out there. Placing a burden on basic functionality at the expense of bragging rights is absurd. That's my opinion anyway. I'll be willing to bet there are many more like me not speaking up. I love to brag as much as the next person. Heck, I even posted a Quadrant of over 4100. But that was before the added sound functionality and the requirement for the stock kernel, which isn't that bad. Heck...I post an average 2800 Quad scores and that spinning globe here hit 80fps using stock kernel. So there :)

last time i used bt is like 2006 on my se w810i

and i dont care about Quadrant that much its just for me to see how fast this is..

i had stock sense roms that scored high aosp roms that scored incredible and on the intro post it says scores 30% higher then an aosp so i did the bench and it was even lower then an atrix.. couldn't play modern combat 2

even slice it lags

so thats why i use this kernel now and asked for some kernel improvements for the stock kernel that comes with this rom.

and i dont overclock.. 1.5ghz is the stock speed but htc underclocked it to 1.2.. i want it 1.5 because i paid for and 1.5

I agree never use BT but performance is so much better if only we could add TAP's would be a multimedia power house

This is ROM have been great so far until now. The launcher have been force closing for about an hour now. If anybody is having that problem or if you know how to fix it please let me know thanks.

Was wondering if there is a reason why the miui backup does not function correctly. With the latest release it added the addition of apps backup which fails as well as wireless and desktop configuration from the system backup. Is this a issue with MIUI currently?

It isn't a current miui problem because I'm running 1.9.16 on my glacier and it works fine. I actually got my desktop to restore with this build as well. I used Doc's "super duper" wipe. (I can't remember the name) and maybe that did it. BUT if you go into TItanium Backup and backup your launcher settings it will restore it for you just like miui backup does.

@ FC launcher guy.... Go into settings>applications>Manage applications and clear all the data from Launcher 2. That has worked for many people. I actually haven't had a single FC on this build.

Man! The GPS is soooo FAST!!! It literally looks like I never turned off gps pr maps when I reopen (yes I close it out completely). I'm really happy with this build.

All we need now is Flash for Camera. and BT to work fully (if it doesn't... I don't use it so I don't know)

I think the issue with some of the launcher force closures, and I haven't had time to try and reproduce this, is if you do not have any more space on your current home screens and you try to install an application, it causes force closures of the launcher. By wiping launcher data, it resets all the groupings/customizations/etc. you have done and flows all the apps out on as many screens as needed. For some reason, it isn't automatically adding a page (is it supposed to?) when you add an application.

I don't have the Launcher FC issue, but home screens are automatically added for me.

Ive tried to move the keyboard onto another rom for my brother but i get FC and i set the permissions and fixed them but i still get a FC would anyone know what im doing wrong? am i missing special lib's or something?

Cothek's Phazed Orange my man, and Demonspeed_MOD with project vexillum icons. Lol Themes are one of my favorite things about this ROM. SO may options. Lockscreens are amazing too, too bad they don't scale right for our device. I'm gonna have to learn how to fix that and let everyone know because it's such a big part of MIUI.

So I'm not meaning to sound like a brat but I turn the voluptuous full blast on this with my headphones in and it's just not what I thought it might be with all the audio enhancements. What I mean to say is, it's not very loud at all. Do I need dsp manager or something?

I really lobe this rom but I swear the alpha had the loudest/most impressive audio of them all so far.

Unless I'm just missing something which could easily be the case. Now in call volume is super loud and external vol is good, just thought the music player would kick it a little more. Seriously though I'm just wondering if I did something wrong. I have nit flashed another kernel either fyi.

EDIT: DSP manager got the audio back up to speed.

Gotta say though this build is very stable and works great!
