If you did restore data you will also brake TAPS, i flash maybe 50x times a day the new version and always full format clean install and TAPS always running with very very loud volume. If you brake TAPS once you will need to full wipe before it gets enabled again. Dont forget TAPS itself is ALPHA.. so therefore no options to turn parts on or off. The system runs completely standlalone and on itself. It makes his own decissions wether to brake or run. I dont know why it completely shutsdown when something changed the system tough. I do know that when i removed xLoud the TAPS system was gone and i need to do full wipe before the sound even got an acceptable volume. So restoring data brakes it down completely.

MIUI Music has a preamp as well. just in the screen with the scroll slider and the lyrics, just below the song slider

I didn't install dsp manager on my device until after i noticed the vol being low. I am aware of the fact that dsp will break TAPS, I just didn't have vol at all so I installed. Gotta have my music thumpin when I lift. Lol

I needed to have camera flash today so I loaded up CM7 V4 here. Using DSPmanager and my favorite Music app PowerAmp, I have really decent volume that is loud and clear. Till we get that update, I'm just going to stay on CM7 I suppose.

Yeah I'm just gonna throw dsp manager back on here. I did a full wipe reinstall and it's just like it was when o thougut taps wasn't working. Don't get me wrong I'm very appreciative of all of Trip's efforts to make this rom a media powerhouse, I just like LOUD and it's not loud until I put dsp manager..

Thanks so much trip fir a kick ass rom I really enjoy using it! I'll say it again, I'm not going anywhere!

Thats correct, TAPS is misleading the internal audio system and blocks it and passes it trough again. In the meantime the sound is completely revised and sended to his destination without the phone finding out it is hacked, its sort of a signature that probably the easiest way to describe it.

I also found out that there is a difference in hardware of the Sensation, the Sensation has support for Samsung, Sharp, Acer and another display which i forgot. I happen to have a Sharp display which is extremely better then the Sharp display i had before i sended my phone to HTC for repair... I think that also the speakers are different in some phones..

PS. if you go to settings -> battery -> scrolling down the page.. are you sure that "low power audio" is set to off?

PS2, I'm working the whole goddamn evening on rebuild the FREAKIN launcher for qHD well EUREKA its done for 90% and has gotton "ALPHA" stage so its good for a first release. I'm not releasing the latest MIUI version anymore everyweek.. when i have time i do it but with all the customisations i did there is no time anymore so MIUI version will be upgraded when i have time. Launcher now has a nice 4x4 layout without messing the crap of it and give FC

I'm also very very very distressed of missing my girl :( :( :( :( :( its getting worse every badword day and my life is a total mess at this moment. My money is almost gone after some things went wrong, i'm full of stress, saddness and crap. So its like a bomb has exploded the last weeks, as long as this isnt solved i cant have some rest.

Hope you all can understand it a bit.. the real me has died when she left, its sad you dont know me that way when i was happier so hopefully its going to be better cause this aint life anymore.

Hang in there Trip. We have all gone through heartaches like this and things always seem like they will never get better and that you will never be happy again. I know it doesn't seem like it when you are in so much pain, but each day things will get a bit easier, each day things will get a little bit brighter and when enough time has passed you will come out of the fog and be the better for it. Best advice I have is to stay busy, whether that is with work, spending time with you mates or with your favorite hobby. We all appreciate everything you have done for us with this ROM, but your well being takes priority, take care of yourself.

Hey trip I have a working 3d qhd launcher ported from a stock gingerbread build. It's super smooth. If you were talking about including a similar launcher let me know... I could probably help u out.

Good morning, Guys! Here is the link to my update zip file that I use:-

When I install a new ROM I super wipe 3 times to be safe (comes from the early MIUI days on my Nexus One), format my SD Card, then flash the ROM. After booting for the first time I let it sit for 10 minutes, then reboot into recovery and flash my update zip. This installs all of my ring/notification tones, bootanimation.zip, wallpapers, themed system apks, themed framework, themed keyboard and data/app files. I do not restore and data to ensure that there will not be any problems or FCs.

You could restore your apps via TB or MyBackup Pro, but you would still need to manually install the other files. This enables everything to be installed that you need!

You can delete any folder that you do not require as this file was updated by me to suit my needs.

Please note: I take no credit for the creation of this file and I will not be responsible for any problems that you may have in using it.

Hi Trip, I know that it seems like your life is a mess, but things will improve with time. I've been there and know what you are going through. There are no words that will make things right, but try to be positive and keep yourself busy.
