you use the cm7 kernel right? but why it works with cm7 + cm7 kernel i don't understand it....

This ROM is fantastic, I has been running after I flashed the Kernel 2 hours ago and everything is running smoothly

New Theme and Launcher

I am fan of black, but the transition and new look of matted grey and blue is fantastic. The launcher is great and smooth, thanks for the redesign.

In Call VOLUME!

TAPS is amazing! I called my friend after class and I had maxed my volume, I was so blown away my friend was worried something had happened. You were not joking at all good sir when you said to be careful, amazing.

Stability

I have not experienced any FCs and WiFi is working flawlessly, connecting really quick. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but I can't get the flash to work. I have turned it on and to Auto and it is still not working. I don't have any customer kernel installed, I know Doc said it was working for them.

Speed

The transitions are awesome, the speed and animations are perfectly set and give a amazing fluidity to the phone.

Camera

Is AMAZING! Seriously one of the best functional cameras I have used on my phone. Not cluttered with so many pointless options, this camera is concise, effective and very user friendly. Great Camera!

Note (EDIT: this is not mean't at all to deter people from posting. The only way I learned how to flash is by asking questions and reading forums. These are some of the rules I try to follow when I post)

All ROM's are not created equal. It is usually one person who maintains and updates a ROM, functions and stability will come. Take the ROM as it is now and not what it will be (Trip will often say what he is working on and what fixes are coming).

If this ROM is not at a state you want, go flash something else. If you go on a board to post about the BT not working and 15 other people have already posted that, then the dev already knows, your comment is not needed.

Avoid making comments like "BT pair not working, will not use until fix. Fix pls" This doesn't help the dev at all, if you going to complain don't post. If you are going to offer constructive help then by all means post what happened, what are trying to pair with? How far you get in the pairing process? Does it work with other devices? Are your running custom mods? Are you using a different kernel? A good idea is to reflash if you are having issues. If the issues persist after you have flashed and flashed correctly (Meaning wiped cache, wiped data/factory reset, wipe dalvik, etc.) then this possibly could be an issue. Always keep in mind that our phones will carry junk and clutter from other ROMs and could break and foul up Trips ROM if you haven't gone through the necessary process to flash.

If you are having problems double check the OP, see what the dev has said.

I am not a developer, I know little to knowing about kernels and build.props, I say this solely as a user.

If everything works for you for somebody else may not, which may depend of many things and many of them could be rom-related. How could Trip know what to fix if nobody posts about problems? This rom is still alpha and problems will occur occasionally, Trip knows that very well.

You need the APK. I would suggest looking on Google for it; I'm sure it is available.

If you install it (so it goes to /data/app) instead of pushing it to /system/app, when you backup your ROM with Titanium (or any other backup application), it should save it with the rest of your non-system apps. That is the easiest way to get it and keep it across ROMs. However, you may have to wipe Talk data and reboot to get it to work after restoring it from a backup.

Just to be thorough... you *can* back it up and restore it if it's pushed to /system/app, but it will take an extra step to manually restore it unless you restore all system data in Titanium, which is not really recommended when flashing a new ROM update.

Ok, I agree that any additional info is highly valuable when troubleshooting, but what do I do if I followed the recommended installation procedure and I am using the same rom, same radio, same kernel, same ril etc. as somebody else who doesn't encounter any problems? What more info can I offer, what i had for breakfast? If you follow the thread from the beginning you should know that there have been such situations, many of them Trip solved, some of them still didn't.

Only thing i'm noticing on new build is in my sms when i delete a thread it clears the messages but leaves a thread at the bottom with the person i sent it to and never deletes it. I cleared data for messaging and still there. flashed twice as well not sure what's up there. BUT love everything else.

You did brake TAPS by changing product brand and model.

Brand needs to be exactly "TripNDroid Mobile Eng." (without quotes)

Model needs to be "pyramid" (without quotes)

OR

Brand as before

Device needs to be exactly "htc_pyramid" (without quotes)

otherwise be ready for some troubles :unsure:

you need to make sure you match at least 1 as described above or the upper one or the bottom one, if not system will start messing arround

New kernel has made it all gravy. Used navigation today for an hr and it worked great. Volume is good in everything. I really have zero issues. Of course I don't use bt, so I can't comment in that.

Mms are great size since I push the mms.apk from glacier.

The launcher is killer. I'm a fan of the 4x4 layout it's my fav ;)

Speed is awsome and transitions are quick and smooth. Love the new theme as I said yesterday (love the blue!)

Trip, this ROM is really shaping up, love the work you have been doing.

• As others have stated with the new kernel market is running fine. I am using the new market version and no issues there.
• WiFi connected fine for me here in the office (I still think connects slightly slower the 006, but I am talking a second or two at most, no big deal).
• BT I will try out later on my way home.
• Navigation I will test too when I am on my way home.
• Interface looks great, screen scrolling is smooth, 4x4 layout fits nicely and I like the color scheme.

I then package add the WiFi calling app (attached below) and then flash your ROM. Once I boot up and connect with WiFi, the calling app would connect and I was good to go.

With 0072B, the WiFi calling app was giving me force closures. I realized that one change from 006B to 0072B was in system/lib, libkineto.so was removed. When I added this file to the ROM, my force closures stopped, but I am still hung on enabling. My only thoughts was there is another file or maybe two that didn't make the jump from 006b to 0072B that are causing this hang up.

OK...please test the following. I called my home phone from the Sensation. I hung up while it was still ringing. But the connection never disconnected. My home phone kept ringing till the Voicemail system picked up after six rings. I have tested this repeatedly. If I end call after two or three rings, the number keeps on ringing on the home phone. I also saw that the imcall recording showed up. Never saw that before, but it didn't work. It looks like iit was recording but playback was zero. The call bug issue is my main concern right now. Just need to know if others can confirm by testing this.

I would love to give you a big thanks for this. But right now, I can't get mms large files to work, even though I am using the exact same files. On your prior rom, I had everything working....wifi calling as well as large mms. Plus to add insult to injury, in the middle of the night, my 32Gb Patriot SD card decided to literally blow up. Got the dreaded SD card not formatted, and on top of that, it is now only being recognized as a 1GB sized card, and NOT 32GB. I lost all my Nandroid backups, including the perfect setup I had running before this version :( Plus now Wifi calling is stuck at that enabling message. It never actually gets to the connected. Others here report same problems as I am getting. Once I get this stuff working, I will just mirror a link to my full setup.

But my concern is the dialer not disconnection. If this is only me, then I will just reformat everything and install clean, to get this working so I can send you appropriate files and edits. This really would make my day, but also all the TMOUS users here too I would think. Gotta run out later to get a replacement SD card. I am using a 16Gb card, but really would like a 32Gb replacement. Between the nandroid backup and I listen to .flac files which use a ton of extra space, but I can hear the difference, so it's worth it to me.

But I have confirmed many times now that on TMOUS, you have to have the model listed as an HTC Sensation 4G.
