hmm misspelled the update.. frb3update.taz.gz instead of frb3update.tar.gz

Corrected it in attached file

b7610.zip

Update working fine for me

Thanks Erikcas.

PS: Would it be easy-possible to map the camera key to open video camera when long pressed?

For your PS: I think not. Videocam is a function within the cam. The keycode only maps to CAM (see qwerty.kl file in the update). There is no videocam option available.

Maybe you can set cam to video by default if you use it more then photocam

Hi, G-sensor in games works or not?

Sensor works but has strange behaviour on 7610. For fixing it I have to compare debugging output with an I8000 users debug output. Solution is not as simple as I thought it would be

Devs are working on sensor, because it is causing battery drain. I will continue working on sensor when they fixed it. Else I have to fix it two times.

i have a simple question:

when i install beta 3, i need to put the update linìke in the previous version or there is something different?

I do not exactly understand what you mean, but I will try

Download installer package and install as described from devs page.

After install, download rev75 from google project page, link in first post. Unpack the zip to your my storage and run haret.exe

After android booted (first you see omniaII loading, after that the android logo and this takes a pretty long time) reboot. You come back in winmo. Run haret.exe to boot android.

Installguides are posted many times in B7610 and I8000 forums. Please read them.

If you are not able to succeed, don't hesitate to ask :)

cam works fine on my phone. Did you enable swap (might be memory problem). If it has never worked, does it work in Win Mo?

cam has never worked for me in all 3 betas, but in wimno works well.... how to check if swap is enabled? e if not... how to enable it?

Go to dev tools --> terminal and type command:

free (followed by enter)

If swap shows up with value > 0 it is active

It is the same, only diff is the file to launch in o2beta folder. Launch androidinstall.exe

Download installer from http://o2droid.phj.hu/index_en.php

B7610 update available from http://code.google.com/p/omnia2droid in the downloadsection

Go to dev tools --> terminal and type command:

free (followed by enter)

If swap shows up with value > 0 it is active

I found this values:

Mem: total=124056 / used=121088 / free=2968 / shared=0 / buffers=2584

Swap: total=125016 / used=6880 / free=118136 / shared=(empty) / buffers=(empty)

Total: total=249072 / used=127968 / free= 121104 / shared=(empty) / buffers=(empty)

So I think these values are correct...but, when I click on camera shortcut, screen goes blank for 1 or 2 seconds and then this message appears (I'm translating from italian): "Sorry. Unexpected camera application termination processocom.android.camera. Please try again. Finish (button)"

What's wrong?

really wouldn't know. You are using a standard install, no files changed?

swap seems fine

I can't install it on my sd!!!

When i launch installandroid.exe a black screen with text appears (like in previous version) but when the text "stops falling" the device ask me "End?" and nothing happens..

In the previous version when the text "stops falling" there was the reboot but with beta 3 it's stucked at the question "End?"

What can i do??? Maybe i need to change my sd format?

and another question: it's better to install it on SD or on internal storage???

I desperatly want to try this android!!!

Plz Help and sorry for my bad english

just install on sd

make it one partition fat32 and let the installer do its work

note: the installer assumes you have original my storage partitions. If my storage is not mmlck1p5 then it will not succeed installing on SD
