Guest erikcas Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 I woke up this morning, and realized that booting my phone into Froyo is such a boring experience. So I grabbed my photoshop and created this simple boot animation. You can download it here, the how-to is also there. Example:

Guest erikcas Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 i expect at least to have the greek language on my phone! if you expect Greek language on your winmo, you are on the wrong forum. If you expect Greek language on android, realize that language support in android is not dependent on winmo. Android does not get its languagefiles from winmo. Winmo is completely shutdown during android boot and android does not interact with any winmo file. You should start google for froyo Greek language howto.
Guest Isascaboy89 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 TO LOLU: Try to follow my step by step tutorial and don't forget that first and second boot are very very slow (it could takes up to 10-15 minutes) 1) Download kernel, installer and startup file 2) Connect phone to pc 3) Copy the unzipped conten of the autoinstaller on the root of my storage 4) Disconnect phone from PC 5) Open o2beta folder and run androidinstaller.exe 6) Wait till the end of the black screen with "falling"text 7) The device will reboot in more or less 30 second 8) Connect phone to PC 9) Copy the file "startup.txt" on the root of my storage 10) Run "haret.exe" from the root of my storage 11) Again wait till the end of the black screen with "falling" text 12) Android will boot (it takes lot of time at the first time) 13) Once in android, don't do anything, just reboot 14) Connect phone to PC 15) Copy the unzipped content of "kernel rev 75..." on the root of my storage, overwriting if necessary 16) Run again "haret.exe" from the root of my storage 17) Android will boot 18) I suggest to reboot again once or two time just to be sure TO ERICKAS: Nice booting screen, i will try asap!!! ANy news about wifi?

ANy news about wifi? Thank you a lot Isascaboy! When i come to home i will try it. But i have a question to point 9: From where i must copy startup.txt? This file is created when the androidinstall.exe has done.
Guest Isascaboy89 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 (edited) With the latest kernel you can also skip this passage. I've had a problem with startup.txt during first installation, but from second installation (cause i've hard resetted the phone) thepoint 9 wasn't neessary. Just let me know it's everything correct And, of course, this tutorial was written when kernel 75 was released. Now, instead of rev 75, install the last kernel version Edited November 22, 2011 by Isascaboy89
Guest lsh222 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 After install Beta3 once again, should I install its updata 1 and fix? Or install Kernel-B7610-Froyo-REV98 directly.

Guest Lolu9 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Dont work for me. I wait 25 minutes and its stuck on "android on omnia ii loading". (i'll run haret without update) I transfer all files to My Storage root, by bluetooth (i dont have cable) - it is a diffrence? I have other files and folder on My Storage and Storage Card - it is a diffrence? Point 11 of your instruction. There is no falling text. Only 5-6 lines and then "android on omnia ii loading" I am out of ideas.

Only 5-6 lines and then "android on omnia ii loading" I am out of ideas. Just follow the steps 1. Format your SD Card with MiniTool Partition Software as Primary FAT32 2. Copy All files and Folder to the Root of My Storage i.e. O2beta Folder, haret.exe, ext4.tar.gz, startup.txt, zImage 3. Now Run androidinstall.exe from O2beta Folder and wait... 4. Don't do anything until it automatically reboots... 5. After automatically rebooting to Windows Mobile, Run haret.exe from the root of My Storage and let the setup finish 6. Reboot once again to Win Mobile  7. Copy Latest Rev/Update to My Storage i.e. frb3update.tar.gz, zImage and replace.. 8. Run haret.exe and Android Update will be loaded... 9. Reboot once again to Win Mobile  10. Thats it... Run haret.exe once again and... Enjoy the latest FroyoBeta3... ;) Edited November 22, 2011 by matriX1218
Guest Lolu9 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 (edited) So you think that format card with MiniTool parition tool will be answer to my problem? I'm not sure that is the case. Edited November 22, 2011 by Lolu9
