@Racerboy. Thanx for your reply.

I read your post about USB cable. IT wasn't meant as a criticizm or something like that. I was just summing up what I noticed :)

Anyway functionality-wise it works quite nicely. Looking forward to #241. Thanx for your work on Racer. Take as much time as you need / can afford to spent on it.

i like feedback good/bad/constructive/ideas its no problem for me, like yourself i saw the problem and posted to let other people know :) the fix would be in the kernal which sadly i dont compile

Well, you are doing a great job. It is really not a big issue.

Friend just told me that the old issue with red button not working to end a call when screen goes off is back.

Was that a kernel issue or something else?

Beside some bugs, the 227 with the dual touch by deadlink is ULTRA MEGA AWESOME!

waiting the 241 to start the tests!

omg i cant wait for it, the changelog is epic!

i'm sure you will do a excellent job like you aways do, racerboy!

PS:

btw, the swype wasn't working on the 227, even in the rom with this support.

but it is a great rom.

still feels that touch screen is very much sensitive in the stock 2.1 rom..as compared to all cyanogenmod roms....somebody please port that 2.1 stock touch screen features to next 2.3 build.. its precious ..even little pressure needed with fingers to touch the screen...thanks

Glock24, your camera is the 2.0 megapixel model? (the one that brazilians have...)

The phone says "3.2 mega pixels" on the back, but with the new kernel the photos seem to be 2MP (1600*1200). With the stock ROM I could select the quality of the photo and I think the default option was 3.2MP, but I'm not sure. I'll revert to stock ROM to check.

Is there a way to know what model the camera IC is (without opening the phone that is)?

UDATE:

The camera seems to be 3.2MP, as photos taken with the default ROM are 1536x2048, and also seems to have better low light picture quality.

UPDATE 2:

Is there a way yo know if this camera has autofocus?

1st. alot of people use market, depending on how many like it included, i may remove it in the next ROM, you can however remove the specific .apk`s for it to be a non-market version......i can give you instructions on which .apk`s to remove if you wish :)

2nd. Yes

my power button seems to end my call, i wanted to turn on my screen to check a number while in call and it ended it, is this now hardcoded in deadlink new kernel? because thats turned off in accessibility :/ i also use some hybrid custom rom so its not racerboy rom, not to be confused, was not happening with vamshi kernel p;

no its a new wakephone.apk to make end call button work when phone sleeping during call, works great does as it should, if you`ve built from newest source for blade you find some framework files seem to be messed and causing the power button to freak out and restart phone, i tried other kernals too to eliminate it but same result, i have however fixed it........ i`ve not noticed anything different with deadlinks kernal apart from keep usb connected on reboot will make it stick on greendroid screen until you pull usb out

with the untouched source of framework files (i replaced the framework-res.apk) it just kept cycling the bootanimation after some more fiddling around i got it to boot properly but the when i pressed the power button it would go to sleep and pressing power button again to wake would make it cut off blank screen and reboot, same would happen it you let it goto sleep and wake with power button, i had been messing with the settings.apk and systemui.apk but that is not the cause......

you can yes and then reboot go into settings/sounds and tick haptic feedback but the method i said above would be easier if you decided you needed to reflash again (it would be in the rom already):)
