you can yes and then reboot go into settings/sounds and tick haptic feedback but the method i said above would be easier if you decided you needed to reflash again (it would be in the rom already):)

thanks mate, I got to faff via the phone until get new o/s sorted. only takes 2 minutes to add, plus I like the modular approach where individual elements can be added, removed, :D

the haptic feedback has been removed in this version to save battery power i will create a small update.zip for people who would like the soft key haptic feedback re-enabled :) and upload it later

I mean, not the haptic feedback, but, the functions of the keys, they doesn´t go to home, open menu or go back. I´ve installed the swap version, now I´ll test the "no swap".

Racer Boy,i have flashed again my racer to gen 2 and installed 4pda 227#v2,and it worked perfect,so now can i flash your rom,even i am gen 2 currently?

i really dont want to back gen1 just because of the sturtup logo:D

yes you can just use the gen2 to gen1 patch on 1st post install ROM but dont leave CWM then install patch then reboot :)

I've got haptic back on with deadlink kernel, I'll see how battery goes( this with 224 still) saving the new rom for later in the week ..:)

I think it´s because mine it´s the bastard brazillian TIM version, with 2.0 camera. The last update from TIM able other custom's rom to work with the camera.

Sometimes when I pull the menu button, the screen is rolled down.

When i instal rom it work ok but after restart several times doesnt work.I flashed a miui ring lockscreen over cwm,maybe that is the problem,but i flashed and 224 and crt working ok.Thanx for help

ROM #241 is working fine here so far. I've had no issues.

As I said before, the camera works with deadlink's the new kernel, but only at 2MP (camera should support 3.2MP).

I just installed #241 and everything seems to work perfectly except for the calendar. I only see a black (theme dependent?) screen when selecting day/today, week and month views (though synchronization works, the agenda view shows all events correctly). I already cleared all caches (including Dalvik). I'm most likely doing something stupid, but any pointers would be greatly appreciated. :)

Racerboy, seems to be a problem with the devices with 2.0 camera from TIM again. A friend of mine has installed the #241 and got the same issue, but with the #224 the softkeys work for me and them.
