Guest wicky feat Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 To ROM #241, Test subject: ZTE Racer (3 UK version) just flash this newest ROM, but with problems below: 1. Screen sensitivity is way to low, have to press very hard to make the screen touchable; 2. calibration still buggy, for many times i press the Application grid , SMS will pop up instead of app list; 3. seems system running a little slower than previous version(2.3.4 esp) Except these 3 (kind of historical) problems, the ROM is very awesome! and it will be a perfect ROM for racer if these problem were solved( problem #1 esp) Anyway , Good Job Racerboy! I have the noticed the same 1. low sensitivity and have to press bit hard. 2. Calibration still not correct, but people here feel it as same as stock. But, i feel ROM(2.3.5/7) is much better and faster than 2.3.4.

Guest Racerboy Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 oooh nice 1.. so as you were saying about compiling.......could you set the value of the touchscreen to make it a sensitive as possible? sadly at the moment i`m lacking in the kernal compiling department that would be a job for deadlink or vamshi until i learn more

Any chance this can be applied over the top without clearing down at all?

Thanx for your work

Guest Racerboy Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 What is that mean,we must use light flow or not. Thanx for your work it is a ROM option, like a light flow replacement, try it without light flow installed first :) see how you go
Guest leighw101 Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 should be ok to "go over the top" but if any errors you know why Great will probably give it a try tomorrow if the link's live and post back the results and let you know. Great work on these roms though - and impressive work from deadlink on the dual-touch screen too. Now if only I could get the same standard of rom on my tablet I'd be a happy bunny all round lol
Guest mladenovic73 Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 it is a ROM option, like a light flow replacement, try it without light flow installed first :) see how you go Thanx man,i will try.
Guest gagan313 Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 sadly at the moment i`m lacking in the kernal compiling department that would be a job for deadlink or vamshi until i learn more ok..... but im just saying in general..... could you take the racer's sensitivity to such an extent that it could make the touchscreen almost as sensitive as capacitive?
Guest shharisree Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 ok..... but im just saying in general..... could you take the racer's sensitivity to such an extent that it could make the touchscreen almost as sensitive as capacitive? Hey..u stole my question... lol..
Guest oozi Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 it is a ROM option, like a light flow replacement, try it without light flow installed first :) see how you go i'm having some problems with the light flow in the rom #241 when i receive a call or a sms, the led blinks once and switch off. i like when it stays on, that way i can see if someone called or texted me even changing the entire settings on lightflow the led behave in the same way i discribed. i will wait for the 244 and see if it is fixed. thank you racerboy!

Guest oozi Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 gotcha, that means i will have to get use to this new led behave, he he!
Guest Racerboy Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 gotcha, that means i will have to get use to this new led behave, he he! you can try the LED Notifications option but i think it will get overrided by kernal settings.......but is very useful for apps/notifications whilst awake :)
Guest oozi Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 you can try the LED Notifications option but i think it will get overrided by kernal settings.......but is very useful for apps/notifications whilst awake :) i will try that... the issue is that my phone sleeps during 80% of the day. but i will try anyways, thank you racerboy!
