To ROM #241, Test subject: ZTE Racer (3 UK version)

just flash this newest ROM, but with problems below:

1. Screen sensitivity is way to low, have to press very hard to make the screen touchable;

2. calibration still buggy, for many times i press the Application grid , SMS will pop up instead of app list;

3. seems system running a little slower than previous version(2.3.4 esp)

Except these 3 (kind of historical) problems, the ROM is very awesome! and it will be a perfect ROM for racer if these problem were solved( problem #1 esp)

Anyway , Good Job Racerboy!

I have the noticed the same 1. low sensitivity and have to press bit hard.

2. Calibration still not correct, but people here feel it as same as stock.

But, i feel ROM(2.3.5/7) is much better and faster than 2.3.4.

hi guys......just wanted to know how yo can control the sensitivity of the roms?? when im in the cwm recovery, the touchscreen is very sensitive than the rom.....

when the kernals are compiled its set to a certain value, no feature that i know of to change it like an app unless you re-compile kernal to change the values i believe

sadly at the moment i`m lacking in the kernal compiling department that would be a job for deadlink or vamshi until i learn more

Bugger - only just installed #241 and got that all set up with my apps etc and enabled swap.

Any chance this can be applied over the top without clearing down at all?

Great will probably give it a try tomorrow if the link's live and post back the results and let you know.

Great work on these roms though - and impressive work from deadlink on the dual-touch screen too.

Now if only I could get the same standard of rom on my tablet I'd be a happy bunny all round lol

when vamshi and deadlink compiled the revised kernals from source the LED was disabled when phone sleeps by default to save power and aid longer life on battery so it will stay the same, this will probably not change either for the above reason :)

you can try the LED Notifications option but i think it will get overrided by kernal settings.......but is very useful for apps/notifications whilst awake :)
