Lagy Skype on Galaxy Mini Any Alternatives?

Hi

So my girlfriend bought a Samsung Galaxy Mini so we can talk on Skype.

However it’s very lagy and slow while on call. We installed Advance TaskKiller and killed all task and tried the call same thing.

I am guessing this could be because of the Samsung’s preloaded apps etc.

We wouldn’t mind using an alternative to Skype which requires lessprocessing power, however Talk aka Google Talk is not preinstalled and in unavailablefor download in the market.

We tried viber which is good but the quality is not as good.

Any suggestions on: either getting Skype to work lag free (wishing Skype hasa lite version) or finding a low processer intensive but high quality voip app.
