Kies is offering me a firmware upgrade for my Samsung Galaxy S II -

Current firmware: PDA:KF4 / PHONE:KF2 / CSC:KF1 (H3G)

Latest firmware: PDA:KI4 / PHONE:KI1 / CSC:KI1 (H3G)

Anyone see any problems with the latest version?

Thanks,

Idk, i'm still on MCR GR5 (I thought you would be too?) So no upgrade for me :(

Is they're any point in downgrading to stock rom, just to upgrade, so to speak?

The true latest version is KI3, which is based on android 2.3.5. KI4 is still based on 2.3.4 and I've read around several ppl complaining. TBH I would stay with MCR GR5 instead if you like samsung based roms, otherwise you could try oxygen rom, based on android 2.3.7, and fully AOSP, so no samsung crap on it. Still a few bugs with bluetooth as far as i know, can't confirm it since i never ever use bluetooth.

Is it worth wiping MCR5 and using the new firmware, but still keep rooted with CF- root, sorry if you don't know what that is, this is more of a community question.
