Tried first version, fourth anl last one (low voltage). on 1-st & 4 i got 100% from battery, on 5-th 91%, tried to clean battery stats from recovery - doesn`t helped

hi mate bit more input for you my phone 2 wont go up to 100% but i honestly dont mind because battery drain on this kernel for me is outstanding much better than i was getting before 9 hours average use with mobile internet on now im getting 12-13 hours plus so thanks very much mate you should do a full rom with this kernel thats stripped of all the useless google and acer crap cheers mate ( im on test boot 5 )

I tried to install test_5_low_voltage with 4.000.01 GEN 2 , it works fine , 1% battery also works . Thanks !

Hey guys

My phone does not boot with low voltage, just hangs on the Acer screen :(

On mid voltage it boots but freezers after about 30 seconds :huh:

Seems to work fine on high voltage though :rolleyes:

Is there something i can do to make it run on at least mid voltage? how much higher "voltage" is it comapared to the stock kernal?

Low Voltage Test boot 5 for 1% battery step and good battery life IMO.

100% charging is irrelevant, see the XDA and AndroidPolice links.

I tested battery drain om test_5_mid_volt -- OC to 1.4 (1.5 froze the device too often)

Standby without doing nothing, 30% in 9 hours.

i

WiFi is the only connection.

Battery usage:

Standby 48%

Phone idle : 46%

Wfi 4%

Display 2%

Does not look too good.

go to setting >about phone> build number

4.00001 = gen 2

4.000.07 = gen 1

if i am wrong someone pls correct me..

Yep, was getting fcs on superuser using Ginger_dmd_4.000.07_aosp & test_mid. Flashed back to 4.000.07 leak, rooted, test_5_mid (& now using test_5_low) & all ok. Planning to retry ginger_dmd_4.000.07_aosp. No idea if necessary but reformatted the sd 2nd partition to start afresh with link2sd. Impressed by the improved perf (OCed to 1.2) & great battery life with this kernel.

I have no 2nd partition. Just original SD without any ext. partition.

i cannot flash any other test boots, when i try the phone just hangs at the acer screen, does anyone else have problems with flashing other boots ?

Which test boot are you using?

I had to use test boot 5 high voltage, the low and mid would just hang
