Out of all people, I'd expected you to understand ;) there's never any changes though... i make updates to fix known bugs or add new features, if i could see bug fixes or new features it would not bother me.... Guest H3ROS Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 @ tillaz You could create a theme for GO Launcher EX so you wouldn't have to edit it each time. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1139757 Personally I like the stock theme, but I like what you've done with the colours :)

Guest Cphd Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Hi, I have two questions on my atomic v7 OMC, not really ROM related issues (I think) but: - When trying to phone someone and I start pressing some numbers, no contacts appear under it (the usual advice giving you those who match), it must be some kind of option being turned off but I can't find it. - Using GO Weather (addon for GO Launcher), at first I opened it and pressed the middle button on the phone and it didn't display the menu (so I couldn't customize it), then the widget turned to "problem loading the widget" and it just doesn't fix itself. I supposed its the addon but maybe someone with atomic has it and knows more. Thanks :)

The SD speed increase option is very nice because my phone allways strugles with that the first time i boot. I am willing to test the proximity fix (or beta release), since its not working on my phone. 29-09-2011 build date (My screen only turns on when i press the back button) It would also be very nice if there would be the possibility to change to dutch AZERTY keyboard :) BTW: wouldnt updating the go laucher remove the theme again? Guest TrollFaceEngaged Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 I can test the next release....
Guest H3ROS Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 (edited) The Sony mobile bravia engine is what I'm interested in. If I were to use the sd speed increase option then I'm pretty sure it'd kill my card, because it's already a maxed out class 10 that scores extremely well in the benchmarks. Also the other thing that catches my eye is that the notification menu now says "AtomicMod" again, but like before does it look squished/stretched when you rotate the screen? If it does then you can call me picky but I liked it when it was removed because it fixed that issue and made it look cleaner. Edited February 23, 2012 by H3ROS

I agree with the squished AtomicMod logo, but perhaps we could have an AtomicMod splash logo? (the animation which comes after the green android robot)

Off topic but just as a comparison what does your class 10 SD score in benchmark...?
Guest H3ROS Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 Well this was my older benchmark:

Guest tillaz Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 The SD settings don't mod your card because it not the cards fault its under preforming, even class 10 cards.... its the android system having the read-ahead cache very low... (mainly on budget devices) You can check by looking at /sys/devices/virtual/bdi/179:0/read_ahead_kb 4kb is the very lowest, capping your card from its real speed, If you have a card reader you can do a speed test on your PC to see its true speed.
Guest H3ROS Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 (edited) I'd read some reviews about the Samsungs being hit and miss or not lasting for very long, but the Lexar reviews seemed very positive. I ended up getting the Lexar for £16.49 via mymemory, which isn't a bad price. @ tillaz By default, this value is set to 128 (kb) but it was found that changing this value in 2048 (kb), the performances are optimized, making read-write on our external memory faster Mine says 4096 (4KB) in that file and in the SD speed increase app, but the app says 2048 is the best which I'm well ahead of. Also as my benchmark result shows, I'm reading and writing at the speed I should be without any modifications. I can only guess that some cards identify themselves better than others because some are set at the wrong speeds? https://market.andro...m.sdincrease.it Edited February 23, 2012 by H3ROS

OK well erm... i'll download release 8 to see if this makes a difference, and I'll post a benchmark screenshot if it doesmakes a difference if you dont mind.....and if you still use minus...which I've just seen you don't! Also: When I'm typing in dolphin I sometimes find that there's lots of lag, anyone else have this problem?... Edited February 23, 2012 by razzmataz1478
Guest H3ROS Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 I've noticed that Dolphin mini sometimes won't load tabs and will sometimes refuse to load links. I tried regular Dolphin too, but that seems a little laggy. The full version of Opera seems fine but flash doesn't work :( I've yet to try Maxthon, Boat or Skyfire.
