Guest Anthony1989 Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 @tillaz I've always been a fan of this from but the last 2 releases have been draining battery for me, I've tried everything. So, how hard would it be to get the font engine on ice armour 3? I see bravia engine can already be put on but I'm liking the font I have. Thanks

Guest Paper Willys Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 (edited) Hi Tillaz! Great and cool Issue of Atom. ;) I've a rapid question for you. How can i disable the usb battery charging during a connection with a PC: in the previous issue was simple but in this version i'm going mad for search this option. Thanks for the help and see you. Willys Edited February 28, 2012 by Paper Willys
Guest H3ROS Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 (edited) I think I've seen that option somewhere before, but I can't remember where. How did you used to disable it? Thinking about it I might of seen it in CM7 and not Atomic. I'm really not sure, but I did find this. Edited February 28, 2012 by H3ROS
Guest Paper Willys Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 (edited) In the Atomic V.6 I rember that I turn-off the charging via usb (should be in the phone settings -> battery...I'm not sure now but I do it) this USB charging is annoying if you often connect and disconnect the phone. Thank you h3roes! The app solve the problem. I hope that will be fixed in the new issue. Edited February 28, 2012 by Paper Willys
Guest gacama Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Having problems with whatsapp, mesages don't come until I open the app... Not having this issue with r6 or r7

I hope that will be fixed in the new issue. just wondering why you would not want to charge while connected? i use usb tether often and find it good that the phone is fully charged when finished, i removed it from atomicmod settings because i could not understand why anyone would want to turn it off... but if people have reason to do so i will re-add it
Guest H3ROS Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 (edited) I had time to kill so heres my patch to give you the option to enable or disable USB charging: http://www.mediafire...5u6d9wvk3ivwksz It's for R8 only since it uses a modified version of R8's AtomicModSettings.apk @ tillaz I noticed that with this extra menu entry it scrolls and the colour isn't blue when you over scroll. Guest gacama Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Ive noticed that today too - any ideas why ? I've noticed it from first day, flashed rom again but same issue, love this rom and don't want to back to R7 but can't stay without whatsapp :(
Guest H3ROS Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 You guys should use ClockworkMod to make a backup of your current ROM and then flash R7 to check if it's still working. If it does then it's either going to be a root problem or a problem with the bravia engine. If you were to find out then I can give you a patch so you're running my hybrid version of Atomic (7.5) :)
Guest gacama Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 I'm on miui now, and no problem with whatsapp, only have it on R8 don't know why...I'll put my R7 nandroid and tell you... Thanks
Guest jameslewisuk Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Ive noticed that today too - any ideas why ? Whatsapp works fine with R8 for me. All wipes were done and whatsapp installed from market (not a titanium backup)
Guest lefizz Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 Whatsapp works fine with R8 for me. All wipes were done and whatsapp installed from market (not a titanium backup) Same here. been working fine with a fresh install and dl from store Just to say I am amazed with this rom, simply stunning. Cant fault it on any level, been using the phone non stop for around 4 hrs, including running it overclocked to 998mhz for an hour and 100% stable. Quite an achievement. Looks and runs gloriously too. Utterly love it, well done
Guest Wacky.ddw Posted February 28, 2012 Report Posted February 28, 2012 ive tried: flashing a differerent TPT, Redownloading atomic R8 3 times, installing trough clockworkmod 5, installing trough clockworkmod 4.0.1.5. I dont flash anything else then atomic No joy for me... After i put in my pincode "The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. please try again" when i press ok it just appears every 5 seconds, so i went back to R7. Could you please look into this?
